  2. i found nascar heat on ebay:  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/F1-STOCK-CAR-HEAT-20...1QQcmdZViewItem Be advised, this guy is selling illegal copies of NASCAR Heat, and does not have the authors permission to sell BriSCA/F1 Heat either. But from us. Support UK-Dirt. sales@ukdirt.co.uk
  3. Are you aware of this : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/F1-STOCK-CAR-HEAT-20...1QQcmdZViewItem (If the link doesn't work, do a search for NASCAR HEAT 2005) I suspect not.
  4. I've never seen a 10 wheel'd MK10 before, must be a rare one!
  5. Yes, you can pay with Euros, but you need to check how many when you want to pay.
  6. The original Dirt Track Racing game for the PC. £5 including postage.
  7. Another old'un here. Racing online with DTR, I think I first found out about the original league racing in Dirt Modifieds through the Oval Racing mail group, and joined in pretty quick. Been lurking ever since.
  8. Did you have it gold plated? There's no way an F2 would cost that much, even with spares. (unless of course you got ripped off)
  9. I think you were looking at the pages just as I was updating your status. You should have access to the Jolt page now. To refresh a specific page, rather than returning to the home page, right click in the page, then select refresh, as opposed to using the refresh button or F5.
  10. £17K is for a top of the range, brand new everything. 2nd hand ones have gone for less than 7K.
  11. I assume you are talking about the image of the car when you are selecting drivers. You will not see it, as it needs to be included as part of the mod.
  12. Google?
  13. The the MiRC chat, rather than the browser version.
  14. Just having a clearout in the shed and found a tran-x gearbox that I forgot I had. Bought is as a spare a few years ago, but have never needed to use it. Comes complete with an alloy bellhousing and short shift gearstick. £350 obo.

  16. Streamline state that they won't host zip files. Don't know how true it is, but they cancelled the ukdirt account I tried to setup, but didn't tell me why.

  18. I had mine set up with a 4 port hub(not the same as a router) The 'main' PC had 2 network cards(one for modem(although you can use USB), one for hub). Then use internet connection sharing to allow the 2nd PC to connect over the LAN through the hub. Ethernet cables are the ones to connect to the network card and Modem/hub/router.

  21. No, not yet. We need to find out what the purpose of the patch is and if it is beneficial for us to do so. If we do go with this, a proper UK-Dirt announcement will be made telling everyone to do so. Anyone installing the patch regardless will get cheat messages, or worse not be able to connect at all.
  22. If I may add a few comments: When I stepped down the general feeling in the admin team was that a chairman wasn't really needed, hence no immediate replacement. Time proved this to be the wrong choice, leading to a restructure and re-introduction of a chairman - MC. Since MC stepped down, there has been a general reluctance for people to step into the role, due to the misguided belief that it is a very tough and time consuming role. This is largely down to the amount that myself and MC did for the league, and people thinking they have to take on everything that we did, rather than sharing the workload amonst the team. The lack of chairman is proving a little detrimental at the moment, as there is no-one guiding the ship, and decisions are not being made promptly. I for one hope that a chairman is installed ASAP. My final point is that you do not pay for membership to UK-Dirt, that is free. The fee that people pay is to be able to use the Jolt servers. They are not free. If they were, then there would be no fee for members to pay. Please also remember that not too long ago we ran leagues outside of Jolt to enable free racing. Due to the improved racing experience on Jolt the decision was made to move all the leagues onto it meaning we did no longer provide free racing, but that does not mean that there won't be any in the future either. Paying the Jolt fee does not give enyone an automatic right to have a say on how the league is run. Saying so reminds me of the current situation in F1 Grand Prix with the manufacturers against Bernie. Giving control to the majority will mean running the leagues by committee and they will suffer as a consequence.
  23. This is to help the admin team make an informed choice on some of the issues currently under discussion. This relates to both downloads and Jolt usage. Thanks.
