  3. Hello All, MEETING PREVIEW: BACK TO THE BRANDON BOWL The sensational Brisca F1 Stockcars are back at their premier UK venue this coming Thursday 23rd May for some more high speed top action fully sideways action. The F1 Stockcars have seen an excellent start to 2013 so far being a very popular mod with the numbers to back it up! Final winner at this track in last month's event was 64 Ayrton Smith and Ayrton has confirmed his attendance tonight at a track he favours over any. Ayrton still starting from blue will certainly be looking to do the Coventry double. Former 2010 world champion 112 Tom Drabble will be out on track to entertain at this very track in which he took the crown just a few years ago, he will be joined by man of form 184 Chevy Killer at the back in his super smart new machinery. 39 Leek will be looking to extend his good form in his month at yellow grade. He certainly won't have it easy though, 277 Southy is back out in action with plenty of experience and good form on the Coventry Shale and 300 Matty who is never one to write off and always on pace! The brother pairings of 380 Liam and 246 Stox will be out on track once again as will 249 Stoxjack and 238 Kane_M. Further interest is expected from north of the border with 151 Dode being the number 1 set to take the trip down. The superb commitment from the Dutch will once again be seen again, 262 Harmen will be back out on track who enjoyed a very good run last week at the Cowdenbeath Scottish Championship but 84 Timm Verstappen will also be joining him from the blue grade and is certainly quick on most occasions. Tsjalle 229 and Sije 129 both also enter as Holland based drivers. The newly crowned 2013 champion of Scotland 305 JakieJNR will be out for the first time as champion in front of the Coventry Crowd, can JakieJNR repeat some very good form just as he did last week at Cowdenbeath? The white grade looks as strong as ever with Bigal 515 confirming his attendance once again and showing he is really enjoying his racing so far in 2013. 556 George joins him from the front as does 303 Dan Heath new to the Brisca big league last year and 43 of pinken. The high speeds of Coventry, the awesome feel of holding all that power sideways then flying down the Coventry straight just cannot be beaten. We are going to be in for another good night at this track, if you're not booked in now, seriously give it some thought in doing so, it’s going to be a good one! Cheers, Jack RACE INFORMATION: Tonight’s meeting will be run as a split heat format, please make sure you appear in 3 heats each below. These super powered sideways machines and some of the top F1 Drivers in the UK are currently entered it is bound to be a good shale meeting tonight with plenty of action! Man on the form last week taking a huge handful of points away with him was 184 Chevykiller and he will be back tonight to see if he can replicate this on the shale of Belle Vue. 18. Hello All, MEETING PREVIEW: F1 STOCKCARS THUNDER TO COVENTRY The Brisca big league F1 Stockcars thunder back into life at the Coventry Stadium tonight for the first time in 2013 and what a perfect way to start off your easter weekend early here on UKDirt. Tonight we work towards the road to gold for 2013 as we contest in world championship qualifying round number 5! Coventry one of the most popular shale tracks for the Brisca F1s here online and in real life as well so expect big grids of cars and some awesome racing. Multi Champion 236 Dan Skin leads the lineup for tonight and what a great start to 2013 he is having winning a final already which we won just 2 weeks ago at Sheffield and sits at the top of the national points at this early stage looking to defend the silver roof he holds as well. Final winner last week on the tarmac of Pr1mo International Raceway 691 Jake Cameron has confirmed his attendance to try and take his first shale final of the season. The finals last week were dominated by the yellow graders as 122 CraigC went on to win the B-Final race. These 2 yellow graders won't have it easy tonight though as there is some strong contenders in the mix, Liam 380 sits in third place in the national points and is on fine form at the moment. Not to rule out the likes of 221 Spike and 229 Tsjalle who are both very fast racers. Looking towards the back of the grid once again and european champion 291 Marten sets to appears travelling over from Holland. Ex world champion Mike 315 is back for the first time in 2013 and is looking forward to getting back into the mix starting from superstar. 112 TomD has also now booked in for this event and I’m sure the battle will continue between him and his rival DanSkin in 236. 1 man looking for a better meeting tonight is 262 Harmen who hasnt been enjoying the best of starts to seasons and current leading red top in the national points 249 Jack will be hitting the shale of Coventry. The blue grade certainly looks a strong grade tonight and sitting 3rd in the WCQR points at the moment is Johnno 3 and hes back tonight to try and keep himself on row 1 for a semi final later in the year. 305 Jakejnr appears for the first time in 2013 after some unlucky PC Issues delaying the start to his 2013 campaign. 527 Fasttrack and the always on pace 48 Tinman are all out in attendance to entertain again tonight. Is there anyone that stands out from the front of the pack though that could sneak away into the distance tonight? Well we do have the likes of 464 Ayrton Smith who shown outstanding pace at the Christmas Cracker from blue grade so no doubt he will break away this evening. 60 Cooper has been getting quicker and quicker in every meeting he does. Fans favourite 237 Ricky James is back on track tonight to shift some shale and maybe hunt for his first victory of 2013. 515 Bigal is the current points leader of all the white grader so he will be looking to keep this up tonight. 20. SEASON KICKSTART IN THE 2ND CITY Here we go, March has finally arrived and it feels brilliant to be able to wave the long winter months away as its time for the Brisca Big League, F1 Stockcars to kick start their 2013 season. Its going to be done in fine style as well in one of the most popular tarmac ovals in the UK, Birmingham Wheels in the 2nd city will provide the opening action tomorrow and its certain, surely, we are in for an absolute cracker of a night around this track! At the time of writing 40 Brisca F1 Stockcars are booked to attend to pump the wonderful noise of the V8 Chevys for the first time which is a superb turnout. Multi Champion 236 DanSkin has his work cut out this year as he has a very long list of titles he has to aim to defend, one of those of course being the coveted gold roof which he took on the tarmac of Skegness in 2012. With the world final being on shale this year at the Norfolk Arena I wonder how his chances will be on defending. If you go back to the end of last year the last ever race competed was the Champion of Champions race in which Dan did take victory in as well, looking back at his titles I suppose it was relevant for him to win that one! European champion from Holland Marten in 291 will be starting 2013 flying the red and yellow checkereds until July when the European is contested again, can be repeat the title with it being at the same venue? 233 Grasser starts his season debuting a new car in the scheme of Steve Cayzers old car when he was sponsored by Benson Box, look out for the flying red machine tomorrow! 184 Chevykiller was new to the F1 Season in 2011 and what a year he had, starting at white grade and becoming one of the main drivers in the formula to date, he is joined at the red grade by the Morgans of 249 and 238 and Leek in 39 is also booked to compete. The blue grade sees a fair share of the real life F1 boys booked in to compete with the online scene. 90 Liam Brown who dominated the Gala Night with a handful of great results in real life will be looking to repeat his performance online and 89 Alex Montague was in great form in the pre season warm up meeting and starts from blue. 24 Richard Skeels looks to make a return in an F1 Stockcar this week after having a hectic year at work in 2012, how will his return be! Southy in 277 is back for more racing in 2013, a driver with many years of experience behind him. Tim Verstappen usually as H552 has changed his racing number this year to 84. Looking at the yellow grade and it certainly looks strong! 122 Craig is booked to attend from the yellow grade and I wonder what surface he will prefer in 2013? Regular man Spike in 221 spike joins Craig at yellow. Samuel Powell 246 joins the yellow grader in his lowest grade in some time after usually being a regular red grader in various other leagues. He is joined by brother Liam 380 who will start at the yellow grade as well. Kids favourite driver 274 Bigdave is here to entertain them at this opening meeting. The white grade looks to be the grade to watch though, a large list of them all booked in containing some new competition to add to the F1s. 40 Leighton Holroyd has come on in leaps and bounds over the winter with an investment in a better racing PC so will be one to look out for from the front. 237 Ricky James will be on the hunt for a higher grade this season, he spent last year learning the ropes and the car, his aim must be a bit higher this year. 330 Tyler Wilkin could be interesting to keep an eye on as well from the front as well as Fransie Burhenne in 419 who always seems to go well in an F1 Stockcar. 491 Crewesader another driver with much online experience will be out to start his 2013 off. From north of the border 79 Ryan Sharp will be in attendance. Plus many many more, the booking list looks awesome for this first meeting and it looks like you are all going to be part of a season opener to remember. Lots of talent throughout the field and of course the bookings still open for many more still to add themselves to the nights entertaining.
