Hi i no this probably isnt the right place to post this but it is the closest section connected with modding nh.
anyway i have WinResTools Wizard v1.1.1. and i want to no if there is a way to convert sfx files to wav. i no that with winres tools you can convert wav to sfx for nh. but like i say i would like to convert sfx to wav. or alternatively a program that plays sfx files. the reason for this is because i would like to make or at least attempt to make a mod for nh and i am not sure wat particular engine sounds i need. i now there are four files named 'eng1i.sfx', 'eng10.sfx', 'eng11.sfx' and 'eng12.sfx' but as i say i am not sure wat sound each one is so any help on this matter would be very useful.

thanks i found it just after my second post
The missing drivers....
in F1 (rFactor)
Posted
As a new driver competing in my first meeting just last week i can agree with a few points made, about lack of drivers and to a certain extent the elitist drivers.
i must say i was a bit of a nuisance on track getting in peoples way and not knowing where i should be at times, but no one insulted me everyone was patient and gave me advice rather than insulting me, it feels like a good community.
i do like the idea of the feeder formula to get beginners used to rfactor and the online racing.
the two weeks trial for new comers that used to be available i think should make a return as someone mentioned earlier,
and one off open meetings would also be good as a few people have mentioned friends who are interested in racing,
i personally didnt find signing up and paying to be to difficult but i suppose it could be made a bit clearer.
advice for lower graders on set ups as mentioned by a few people wouldnt go a miss, but then again lower graders including myself havent asked for advice (in my case has resulted in frustration at times when the car spins out on the bend, abit more practise wouldnt do any harm)
some good suggestions have been made, unfutunately this topic seems to have turned into a bit of a slinging match in the last few posts, hopefully it can get back on track (pardon the pun) and we can get solutions to see more drivers on track
