I never realised that there was a USB bit came with the wheel til a few hours ago Still got the same problem though. It's not as bad but it's still there.

Sorry to be a pest but I've got another problem with rFactor. I've just installed a wheel after using a pad in the past and I'm having a bit of a problem with it. When I try the F1s or the Legends, the car either won't move (I can get gears etc but it won't go past 1mph) or always goes over to the right even if the wheels are pointing left. I've tried the F1s on both surfaces and I still have problems but I've tried the V8 Buggies and the Lawnmowers on a couple of the oval tracks and they seem to be fine. The wheel is a Logitech Wingman Formula Force and I've plugged it in through a serial-USB adaptor. Any help much appreciated.

Adyboy, you can download patch 1.72e from here I don't think you need the Multipatch but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Make sure you install patch 1.72e last if you install any other patches as your game has to be version 1.72e to race online. Please don't post multiple threads asking for help in future lol. What's the point in saying that? If you ain't gonna help, don't post in this kind of threads

Do you need to have support for shader 3 to run this track? If so, that could be my problem as I know my 'chipset' doesn't support shader level 3. It's a laptop so I can't really upgrade either

Forgot to put that I'm running rFactor Lite but it's patched to the latest version.

I've got a laptop with XP SP2, I've tried the track on DX7 and DX9, also tried putting the detail up to full but no joy. The laptop uses 'Mobile Intel 945GM Chipset Family' 'display adapters', these have meant that a few other games didn't work on my computer though rFactor usually works ok with the details turned down to low.

Thanks I can't get the track to load though (HR version), I get this error, I've tried deleting it and redownloading & reinstalling a few times but I still have this problem Does anyone know what causes this?
