  1. You are only allowed the standard tank if its a fuel injection car and the tank is in a safe position. I think the Saab's one is in a safe position, hopefully Mr Scrutineer agrees....
  2. I hope they don't change the rules as I'm also going to use the standard petrol tank in my car. The previous owner said that this was allowed (as it's infront of the back axle), and advised doing so due a somewhat complicated fuel system. It being fuel injection, it uses high-pressure pipes, but also, supposedly, it has a fuel pump at the tank aswell as a normal one.
  3. You might want to try Photosled. They let you create albums etc if that's what you're after?
  4. Yay! I can slag her off and she won't see
  5. Not arguing with you there hes not talking about ur sister erik I'd be worried if he was
  6. Not arguing with you there
  7. Well mine is the same, apart from the air conditioning system, as I will have to arrange to have the refrigerant 'drained' before I remove it.
  8. The driver may have got out unhurt but was lucky he was not caught in the fire. The fact that it went on fire like it did is alone bad built as even when it is squashed as it is, there have been many national/2ltr etc bangers squashed ALOT more than that and still survived better so that alone to me says bad build. You said it yourself, you will take the dash out for safety. That is exactly why in national spec you are not allowed to still have the dash in the car. Obviously crimond don't race to this national spec which is there for safety more than anything. Some of the 'pockets' on the dash had become full of glass when we removed the front windscreen (whoever invented bonded windscreens deserves to be shot), had this not been the case, I might have just left the dash in. I would have still removed the radio, and dash 'clocks' etc, as I think they could be sold to Saab enthusiasts, if there is such a thing.
  9. Wonder how much "Shireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhh" paid them?
  10. Please don't.
  11. "Bad built" cars eh? That 203 car was badly squashed, and even went on fire, yet the driver got out unhurt. So what was that about "bad built"? I know many of the Crimond cars race with their dash still in, although mine will be an exception as I have removed it, for safety.
  12. as for that fire if the cars where put together as orci(bba) rules that would of never happened but hey is a club track I think it would still have happened, if it was a petrol leak, that could happen regardless of what rules you build your car to.
  13. Bothered?
  14. For those who have criticised the Bangers at Crimond in the past, (in most cases, despite never having actually seen them), I have a few photos which might change your opinion (then again they might not).... 15. Yes and I call you a wucking fanker.
  16. Braderz, I've seen pictures of cars painted by the likes of Roy Fuller, Dan Klynn etc, and obviously, it would take years of practice to be able to signwrite like that. I had a go at doing the 'signs' (term used loosley) on my Mini last year, and, as you can see, made a backside of it (I painted on all the writing but the number fin which was done by my dad). [attachmentid=15034] As others have said, asking your local signwriter if you can go along with them might not be a bad idea. You might also want to see if you can get a hold of some scrap metal to practice on before attempting to write on a car.

    Renders

Here are a couple of renders I did recently.... One of my BWS van and my skin for the Ministox league.... [attachmentid=15014] The Mk3 Granada I used in TNB last night... [attachmentid=15015]
  18. I think it looks best if you merge your signs onto the Overlay before putting the skin in the game. That way, the body details tend to show through the signs, and you don't need to reduce their opacity.
  19. I can't get onto any of the '.co.nr' sites, so it looks like its a problem at their end. I wondered if it was just me that was experiencing this, evidently not.
  20. Nice skin, shame about the wheels

    Renders

Nice renders guys Here's a couple of renders of my BWS van. I know its not the most elaborate of skins, but I didn't think it would look good if I covered the sides with writing. [attachmentid=14895] [attachmentid=14896]
  22. Good luck with the Capri Damo (just don't destroy any Mk2 Jags on your way to the track).
  23. I've got MSN, add andrew@earacheracing.co.uk
  24. I'd be willing to do the skins if you want, unless someone else has already started?
