  1. Nobody is paying me.
  2. I don't think its one of your photos....
  3. This picture shows the ones I mean, and I have about 5 or 6 of the said wheels.
  4. Yes but not 10" 8 spokes.
  5. Are you suggesting that the wheels they use down there are better than the 8 spokes? The wheels are the one part of my car that look anything like decent
  6. I might not be able to race again, but thanks anyway. I ran white "8 spokes", which was what the car had when I got it. I've always thought they looked better than the ones some of the drivers I saw at Yarmouth used. But sadly Weller no longer supply such wheels , well, not 10 inch ones anyway.
  7. Follow the buttons that have been highlighted by the red dots.... I don't know, as far as im aware there is no longer the trial avaible as its a very old version, so maby have to get it on Ebay or somthing, iv been searching and found nothing Thanks Rikard. And Tombo, I think that Mini looks good, but it would look much better with white 8 spokes.
  8. Good effort Rikard, it looks great for a first attempt. Mine is poor, and I have pretty much given up on it. Can anyone tell me how to view how many polys I have used? And also, does anyone know where I can download 3ds Max 3?

    Nice skin Rikard, that must have taken ages.

  11. I have now completed the tutorial up to getting the model in game. When I try to use it in game I get this..... 58.54.865: ====================================================================== 58.54.865: Sep 6 2002 12:09:31 N W32 M6 R senor_b 58.54.865: ====================================================================== 58.54.865: mem: p/s/t t/a 510M/287M 1246M/948M 2047M/2023M 58.54.865: JoyBegin 58.54.880: data directory: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\Data\ 58.54.880: Config Dir: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ 58.54.880: Add-on tracks dir: "C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\tracks\" 58.54.880: mod: trying mod "ukdirtbangers"...58.54.880: mod.cfg found ok. 58.54.880: mod: Config Dir override: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ukdirtbangers\ 58.54.880: Running on WinNT version 5.1:2600 Service Pack 2 58.56.505: ddraw: created directdraw with nv4_disp.dll (NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200) 58.56.505: ddraw: version 0.0.0.0 58.56.958: vid: 64 meg card (reported:126.882813) 58.56.958: vid: using AGP textures (254), total: 64 58.57.240: vid: triple buffer on 58.57.271: texture: supports compressed solid texture 58.57.583: mr: 3D performance: 487 MPix/sec, 8361 KTris/sec 58.57.583: mr: fill rate is GREAT, poly rate is AWESOME, machine speed is 0 58.57.755: DirectSoundCreate fails!     You sure that wasn't the Hot Saloons you were watching?
  13. It depends on how good it is, same as my Mercades i made, as in my case your first project is usally just a learning curve, and the second attempt will be much better Good to see your having a try I suppose your right, I expect this first project to be poor in comparison to others' work. How are you getting on with the Merc?

    They aren't. I saw rookie bangers in Yarmouth, and there was more contact in the first 3 laps at Crimond than there was in a whole race at Yarmouth.
  15. No its a shoebox with holes cut in it.
  16. I started this today, using Nick M's tutorial. The next thing on the tutorial is extruding the door pillars. Comments welcome. I think I might be "trying to run before I can walk", but would this thing be any use if I finished it?

    I think you have achieved the "preraced and old" look, although I'm not sure those wheels are appropriate for a banger.

    Here is a render of the Andrew Blackhall skin, as painted by Martin. And also thanks Rikard for linking to the Hotrod wheels.
  21. Here are a couple of Garfield decals. One of which I used on me P5, as I fancied a change from Spongebob. garfield.zip
