Well done Rikard, having shown your skills with rendering, I think you deserved to win. Hard luck to the rest of the entries, they were all quite good. I also agree with what Allstar has said above. Renders certainly make a car look alot better than simple screenshots.

We use an old basin to catch the oil, but when changing the filter some oil will inevitably go on the floor, maybe its just my carelessness? Anyway, since when do Chavs change oil? Aren't they afraid of getting oil on their expensive Burberry clothing and then rendering it unwearable? Nice renders Micky I use an old boot mat from a sierra estate, it's even rubber coated underneath! lol God that mat must smell, as if it wouldn't have stank already but after a few lots of oil... On a more serious note, thanks Allstar for the compliments.

Like Rikard, I have also painted a nice limo (thanks Vivadave for the 3d file). (These are proper limos, unlike the big, crappy American ones you see on the roads today); This is also my first attempt at making use of Rikard's suspension in a render, comments welcome.

Oil stains? Would it really be worth changing the oil in a banger I know it is impossible to change oil without it going on the floor and/or on your clothes.

I know what you mean, I've lost alot of cars to the dreaded quicksand.

I didn't mean to offend you, but up here, bangers are little more than bumper cars in a field. Not nearly as advanced as Hotrods, Saloons or even Minis. They are good to watch though.

I don't get wound up about rusty cars, I like to see rusty Granadas/Sierras. But ha ha, you can't race that particular Mk2 But some of the body panels might still be some use to a Mk2 RESTORER! (A restorer is someone who returns a rotting/damaged classic to a roadworthy state, rather than just stripping it, painting rude words on it and thrashing round in bumper cars in a field).
