And i dont even get credit the photo i took pfft..
il remember that.lol
I don't think its one of your photos....
-
This picture shows the ones I mean, and I have about 5 or 6 of the said wheels.
-
Weller still make 10" wheels........
Yes but not 10" 8 spokes.
-
does it matter what it looks like aslong as it goes better and i heard its getting hard to get wellers now as we tryed ordering some the other day
Are you suggesting that the wheels they use down there are better than the 8 spokes? The wheels are the one part of my car that look anything like decent
-
Hello erik are you a ministox driver
it said its not finished and that means ive not done all the detail on the wheels what wheels do you run on your mini 5spokes ? must be mad good look to you
I might not be able to race again, but thanks anyway. I ran white "8 spokes", which was what the car had when I got it. I've always thought they looked better than the ones some of the drivers I saw at Yarmouth used. But sadly Weller no longer supply such wheels
, well, not 10 inch ones anyway.

Can anyone tell me how to view how many polys I have used? And also, does anyone know where I can download 3ds Max 3?
Follow the buttons that have been highlighted by the red dots....
does anyone know where I can download 3ds Max 3?
I don't know, as far as im aware there is no longer the trial avaible as its a very old version, so maby have to get it on Ebay or somthing, iv been searching and found nothing
Thanks Rikard.
And Tombo, I think that Mini looks good, but it would look much better with white 8 spokes.
-
Good effort Rikard, it looks great for a first attempt. Mine is poor, and I have pretty much given up on it.

Any ideas?
-
I was up at crimond and they all rod and look surprised if they crash.
cheers
sparky
You sure that wasn't the Hot Saloons you were watching?
-
but would this thing be any use if I finished it?
It depends on how good it is, same as my Mercades i made, as in my case your first project is usally just a learning curve, and the second attempt will be much better
Good to see your having a try
I suppose your right, I expect this first project to be poor in comparison to others' work. How are you getting on with the Merc?
-
their bangers are tamer than rookie bangers, and that says alot.
cheers
sparky
They aren't. I saw rookie bangers in Yarmouth, and there was more contact in the first 3 laps at Crimond than there was in a whole race at Yarmouth.
-
fiesta?
No its a shoebox with holes cut in it.
-
I started this today, using Nick M's tutorial. The next thing on the tutorial is extruding the door pillars. Comments welcome.
I think I might be "trying to run before I can walk", but would this thing be any use if I finished it?
-
this is my lastest render and skin i tried to make it look preraced and old lol
comments plz
rodder
p.s the mushy one was my first attempt at it but forgot the door plates lol!
I think you have achieved the "preraced and old" look, although I'm not sure those wheels are appropriate for a banger.
-
the sperm on the side of the car?!
Black sperm? I think he better see a doctor
-
Nice skin and render Allstar
-
Here is a render of the Andrew Blackhall skin, as painted by Martin.
And also thanks Rikard for linking to the Hotrod wheels.
-
Here are a couple of Garfield decals. One of which I used on me P5, as I fancied a change from Spongebob.
-
Thanks for the advice chops, assuming it was intended for me.
-
After reading BWS Eric should definately invest in some sort of anti swearing device.
I never knew there was such a thing. Couldn't you have told me sooner?
-
Here are my latest attempts, renders of my Pre68 car for Martin's League.
-
missed this one out from me last post
I like what you've done with that one, good job.
