Iv tryed to do my best render ever! here it is Its a render of my mk3 going up the A23 to Wimbledon for the Thursday Night Banger "London Open" meeting this Thursday [attachmentid=7368] I tryed for ages to try and get everything as acurate as possible

That looks really good! I love the shiny and 3D effects he used, nice shirt, wear it with pride

its not hard, just like my one above i just gave the ground a road surface, made a long box and gave it a brick texture, then put another plane behind it and gave it a grass texture, then aplyed a sky background, had a go with the lighting and then the scene is done

I havent actually heard a more percise and accurate description of football. I love the way that on the new on saturday the football results came BEFORE the news about the battle of the Somme. So basically the quote above is more important that WW1 lol i like the way you bring war into it if you think about it we are much better at war than football and have beaten some top teams, in war over history we have beaten France, Spain, Argentina, Germany twice, Italy but then they switched sides, also most of Africa and of course we have beaten Scotland a fair few times aswell But

lol im glad im not judging the final 4, i gotta say that I think Calum has made great improvements and has turned out a very respectable render, with all parts in realistic proportion and spacing, and is a big improvement over his earlier renders, so very well done for that, Also I think that Jrusselluk’s damage render looks superb, I especially like the way the rear door come bulging out, great work, and Ernie Jnr's render looks great too, a nice use of darker background and lighter car to make it stand out more and draw your eyes to the car. Top work all round from everyone, and penalties? I can barley watch!

Rendering to the last second, i got home late and just managed to open up max and fire 3 cars into each other and take an action photo

Whats wrong with thinking positive? we had a good team this year, we played well against Portugal with 10 men and in my opinion deserved to win. You may say that every year we say we can win, but as i said whats wrong with thinking positive? its hardly going to inspire a nation if the Captain says "were a bit crap but we may get through the group stages if we are lucky" its better to look on the bright side and think we can win, then hopefully we can perform better. Another thing i don't understand is why generally the Scottish have a HUGE chip on their shoulder when it comes to the English, why? the Scotts love to see England loose, why? and they’re are happy when we get kicked out the world cup, why? if Scotland were in it id honestly want them to do well and i'd cheer them on, and if England wouldn't win the cup i'd want Scotland to win it, simply because its part of Great Britain and part of our Country. I think the Scotts need to grow up a bit and stop being to so anit-English, it just makes them look pathetic, especially when they don't even play football.

Max is the best place to save a render, but if you can't then i would print screen and crop the image in Microsoft paint, then save it as a j-peg. Nice render

If no one has the car files then download the file attached and have a look, its a tutorial [attachmentid=7220] There are a few spelling mistakes but you should be able to follow it, it should be easy to do as it tells you everything step by step. Sorry for the double post, i have one quick question, can we "touch up" the renders in a program like photoshop? or does it all have to done in 3D Max? heres an example of one of my renders using photoshop aswell, iv just added a lense flair and some stars, [attachmentid=7219] This isn't one of my entries, il be posting them up Sunday, cheers Moo
