i should coco m8, i think the rods National final's a 50-lapper The national hotrod final is always normally 75 laps for the national champ. So if anyone there and you see me pull off and run for the bar you no im tired and needing a beer, never even tried doing 75 laps straight off so will be good for me and the car !!!!

Nationals are both days m8 (in fact everything is except the classic hot rods, which are sunday only) - rods National championship race is on the Sunday i think pick us up from cov saturday nite them m8 As far as i no all the finals are on sunday and all the qualifying is on the saturday.

Should be a cracking weekend then lets hope the racing as good as the beer !!!!!

Thanks for all that mate top man just now trying to do more with the cutter and it came with artcut 2005 which aint the best . Trouble is flexi and all them are so expensive for what i wont i will have to see if i can find someone with a copy and beg them for it lol. Thanks again for all your help

Thanks for that mate had to change a few things and it always cuts both versions off it but it does work so thanks alot. Do you no how i can convert things to eps as thats the onlything my cutting programme will use would like to do more logos in psp or corel then convert to eps for cutter. Any help would be great thanks

Anyone going along for the weekend i will be making my first outing in the national at a spedeweekend at the support races. I no jay 404 is racing a banger on the saturday team event so have a good one mate sure i will see you at some point over the weekend. And may see some others there but i would take a rain coat as it looks like its going to be wet !!!!

Aye, but I bet you my car wouldn't cost the silly prices most people pay for those off the shelf "racing machines". And I have had to have time off work due to a racing injury before. But I took the risk so I guess it had to happen one day. Stockcar racing is a dangerous sport. I agree with what you have put about the contact is not there as much now because of the costs of cars and tyres etc etc. But when you say you would not spend silly money on a car then i think you are wrong unless you would like to spend your racing at the back of the grid, It is very much if someone spends something on there car and makes it go faster or handle better then what you going to do? The options are come last every race or spend the same and show them that you are better, i agree that money is not everything as you still have to be able to drive the car but money is a big part of all motorsport like it or not.

Why does every topic on this forum go off what its was started about and end up with people just slagging others off? Dont no about others but starting to get abit boring reading this stuff now!!!! Maybe we should have a heading in the menu under off topic (slag each other off)

I think that the cars are far to quick now to be followed in on a post and wire fence and even some armco ones. Some of you have said that they are ok as long as you are in the right car and that you only do it on a similar one, this is all fine but i have raced a few bangers (not the best lol) and i just see red mist and if there is a car there you want to let have you are going to do it!! All im trying to say is maybe you dont always think if the car infront is built right when you are in the middle of a race. I also agree that it is good to stand there and watch a good follow in but there has to be a limit Just my views

Thanks mate after all the probs we have had with the car it does now all seem to be worth it, got the thing running today and does sound sweet so now just got to set it up then off for a practice to get ready for ipswich b/h monday. Then we are going to ireland nutts corner to have a go there so maybe see some off you there, we need to do ireland even if it will only be my second meeting as we need to do 3 meetings before the thunder 500 so i can do that and spedeweekend then national champ.
