Dazza I had kind of the same thing and had to change the screen resolution to a 16bit setting. I use a Gforce4 4800ti card 128mb it's 4 years old now and only just about does the job. You can do that from the Rfactor config tool in your Rfactor folder. Cheers Lakey

Terry Cokes Mk3 Tina was a bonker of a wreck. Nat team 92 was good with the Pri boys coming up and taking a few bent motors home with them. I remember Jack Overy having a A60 that was quicker than the PRI Tina's. Jack was racing for Spedeworth Team 3 Litre when he ran Ian Cadman of Custard Cream fame in full chat superb stuff. Pri and Spedeworth drivers knocking the hell out of each just dont sound right that does it? I thought it was all about being freinds and not hitting each other too much How about the pre68 in 93 AKA the Woolfy show, what a perfomance that was in his Westy. Cheers Lakey

I think Woka is spot on Dom. I had the same thing about 3 years ago and did everthing thinking it was a overheating issue. Problem ended up being the Memory speed settings were wrong. I would start as scrappy says and look for a overheating problem then try the memory setting in bios then maybe look a your Power supply that could also be faulty. If you need any help just shout. All I will say on this thread is this. As head Banger admin I am all for using as many different types of chassis and class of car as possible. If anybody has a car and would like to send me the car for testing to be included in Ukdirt Bangers we will look at it and test it. But it does have to be as AndyH says. I dont care if King Kong, James Cagney, Tony Blair, Fern Cotton or Ginger Spice make the model, if it's good enuff it will go in. Cheers Lakey

I was there that Night Swerve and TBH I have seen worse wrecking than that. It was around the Blitz mag time so it did get made out to be a lot worse than it was. I like the sound of that idea! The Rabbits/Vermin V Squad was a great battle and made me a regular at Arena for quite a while. Proper drivers in proper cars not afraid of a proper crash. Overy, Wood, Boulden etc had just joined them and seemed to be out to prove themselves..... and they did! One thing that I will always remember came from the fat bloke who always used to be at Muddyhole and Arena, always sucking on a roll up that never seemed to be lit, you may know who I mean?! (always stood in front of the middle steps at Mildo and in front of the tavern at Arena). His beloved Squad were getting some hammer large stylee at Mildo cue the "go on the squad", "SQUAD", "SQUAD" then they got done "****ing Rabbits....(pause)...cant ****ing drive" giving them all the thumbless hitchhiker, we were in stitches at the way he said it and still come out with it now and again when we see someone witha rollup hanging out of their mouth at a funny angle lol Trouble is tho most of it is Race Video and was never that struck on them as they tended to miss quite a lot of the action or edited it wrong so that they miss the biggie which you can see is just about to happen on a lot of videos I have seen from them. From PRI Nick if you want a pucka domestic try and get the 21st June 1987 from Race Video. Purely Awesome, Dave Tuffen giving a Wilsher a lesson, Tuffen put in one of the best driving displays I have ever seen. I'd love some of the boys who bang on about how good bangers are today see it. There was also another Domestic When the Hired Killers did a memorial meeting for Kevin Kemp in 87 again they well had it off with the Yellow. Arena team semi finals day 92 was a blinder as was the team final day that year, (I still have the back ache from it) I have that somewhere will dig it out for you. Although I think the DVD I gave you had the Condom V Vermin 92 Head to head on it. Also the Mildo Yellow A60 94. Wimbo WF 1991 is also another cracker Nick, proper racing & proper drivers. Will just show you how times have changed. It's a shame Knobby, Race Video started filming in 86 when the Dirty half were slowing up so the real Hardcore DHD V Squad stuff wasn't captured by them. Most of the really heavy wrecking was 84,85 If anyone has footage of that stuff I'd love to see it. Only thing you will see is the 86 Team final but don't blink will you lol You could say the DHD had a very rare bad day at the office and the Squad had some serious Tanks. Hi Mate, Sorry for not coming back to you. I'm still having problems with the game stutters. I no longer use mcaffe I'm using AVG. My machine runs much better but the game still stutters in traffic or when big piles ups occur in the bangers. Rundll32 are all closed when I race online. I have unintsalled and re installed from scratch but still have the same problem. I really dont know if its a ping or grahic thing? When i log on sometimes i get a ping of 30 to 50 but then a few times i have noticed a ping of 1000 It is driving me bloody la la Cheers Lakey

My problems are 100% a mirror image of yours. My pc is 2.6p4 Nvidea4800Ti 128meg Graphics card, 1gb of Ram and I still have to turn down all the settings in heat and i still get Stutters and this all happened all of a sudden about 6 weeks ago. I have tried eveything and the only thing I can really think of now is Hackerwatch and Redirector and also CTFmon.exe. These 3 processes were stopped by Enditall but they would restart about 3 mins later. Will see how it goes tonight and let you know. Cheers Lakey

Do you use Mcafee Anti Virus Product? I have been having exactly the same problems. The only thing I can think of now is the processes that run in the background that endit all wont close. These are hacker watch and Mcafee redirector. I have found a way of stopping these services and will be racing bangers tonight so I will report back tomorrow on the results. Cheers Lakey

If you have ctfmon.exe running a easy way to get rid is as follows. Go to Start, then Control Panel, then Regional and Language Options, then click Languages tab, then Details, then Advanced tab, then put a check next to “Turn off advanced text service” then hit Apply.
