The London Allstar Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 not everyone can host i understnad, so you may not be able to also different server wil lhold different numbers of people before they warp
theboss Posted November 18, 2006 Author Report Posted November 18, 2006 ok i have my ip addy, what now? When i go to multiplayer and type it in it just says waiting for reply?
Mav Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 You dont type in the IP address, those trying to connect to you type it in. All you have to do is instead of "connect" via multiplayer, you "create" the server. Make sure you choose "LAN" prior to doing this tho. Once you have "Created" type in a Server name like "Boss Racing" then others know its yours, and key a password if required. If required you must tell all the others what it is else they won't be able to get in. I would leave password blank.
theboss Posted November 18, 2006 Author Report Posted November 18, 2006 ok ta, that seems to work silly question, but is it possible to have a few 'computer' cars racing around as well as the 'real' players?
Mav Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Yes, they are called AI cars - just change it to how many you want.
theboss Posted November 18, 2006 Author Report Posted November 18, 2006 Would the amount of AI cars affect the possibility of warp?
theboss Posted November 19, 2006 Author Report Posted November 19, 2006 Hmm, it appears I can't host not fair
Rusty Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 You can also run a dedicated server if u want help with that pm me
reg126 Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 Having just checked out on IP NUMBERS I have found out that my number changes each time I log on and therefore my server is a dynamic type rather than a static type. Does anyone know wether I can still host or not considering I can obtain the IP each time I log on so therefore others should find me for that session if given the IP number???
Munster Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Hi m8 You'll be OK to host Mine's the same it'll only change if I reconnect, I then just let others know the new IP. Munster.
