need help

hi,

ive jsut finished my first banger skin and ive done everythign right i think, i saved it as 512x512 24 bit uncompressed i changed it to a tex file and i entered the drivers text but i still dont know where i can find it to race with it offline?? can anyone help??

I assume you moved the .tex file into your ukdirtbangers folder?

Post up your drivers.txt so we can check it for any mistakes.

If you haven't already got it, there should be another 'end' at the very bottom of the drivers.txt as I've added in bold above. When you start up the game and select Single race your entry should be in the drivers list, if it isn't, are you getting a list of Nascar drivers?

um ye ive doen that and my name is i ndrivers list but when i select it and race with it the car is just red and not my skin. why is this?

Is your skin named 'car999.tex' and located in the ukdirtbangers folder?

 

Also, I assume you have converted the tga 2 tex via mktex and not just renamed the tga file to car999.tex?

Make sure you Tex Number is the same number on the drivers text! and the tex file for your car is in the folder
