  1. Johno is right, it was redone, so I'm not sure where that leaves us lap times wise, I'm unsure if the track was altered more than just appearance wise so not sure which version I have and whether it will effect the lap times or not!
  2. You must be flying with a time like that unless of course there has been changes made to the track since I last raced last year. I love this track, my best time is a mid 13.8, and I used to be pretty quick!
  3. Really enjoyed this meeting alot more than I was expecting to after about a year away and next to no practise, no setup and after a dismal meeting in F2's on monday I was expecting the worst but it was highly enjoyable almost throughout. There was plenty of fair wheel to wheel, bumper to bumper racing and good little battles going on, there was the usual idiots too but luckily they didn't influence the whole turn out into to brainless driving as has been known. Disapointed to have to miss next week's meeting as it is one of my favourite tracks but I'll be at work, so might be back in a fortnight Well done Trav Dode and LeeK on their successes last night, thanks to the admin team who did an excellent job running the show.
  4. Whilst I'm at it, whats a decent lap time? I'm on a fresh install, no setups and it's been a while! Same old Sidewinder though . .
  5. Sorted, Internet Explorer was blocking the download on the site so I thought it was a dead link, worked through Firefox, cheers
  6. Anyone know where I can download the track so I can see if I can still remember how to get round the place?
  7. Haven't really got time for a return and I don't often finish work til 11pm but I had this week off so I downloaded rFactor again and decided to pay the fee in case I get a free night at some point
  8. I will book in for this if my account gets re-activated in time, I paid my renewal fee via paypal last night, so if anyone could sort that out it would be much appreciated, cheers
  9. Nah I've been going much faster since I took the roof rack off, plus I like the retro look, that and the car being bright green makes me stand out from the crowd
  10. It's been a while since I've been on here as I've been so busy at work and finding time to run an F2 whilst building a new tarmac car is very difficult, but I went to practise at the re-opening Stoke stadium this Wednesday and I thought it was excellent! It really brought back some fond memories from my childhood peering over those white boards on the home straight when I was about 10 years old watching F1s bounce along the home straight and all those years ago who would of thought I'd be doing the same ten years down the line! The track is great, smooth, fast corners with little grip and straights which are still fairly bumpy but with a strong armco fence instead of the old post and wire construction. Here's a short video of me blasting round the place from this week: I can't wait for the May World Qualifer Meeting there now!
  11. Sorry guys got to cancel, been called into work
  12. Where can I get the right mod that we are using from please?
  13. Well done to all winners, but a big well done and thanks to you Kev for running quite a busy meeting with so many races on!
  14. I agree, that's what stock car is all about.
  15. Really enjoyed the racing tonight, every single race and feel as though I'd like to come back and do a few more meetings next season but I've just a change of job and hours which means I won't be able to unfortunately, which is the reason I decided to give it one final blast tonight. Maybe be able to make it next week, I'm being told next Monday when I start my new job, so we'll see. Well done Tom who drove a steady and considered meeting all night, Mike for doing his best to take it to the wire and Leek for final and top score. Cheers Kyle
  16. Really good determined drive to win it from the back, I had the pleasure of watching the whole thing after crashing out on lap 2 and I have to say it was probably more enjoyable than driving would have been. Well done Tom!
  17. Booking in please. Have booked on the website for Wednesday.
  18. That really is an amazing piece of work Johno, really top stuff there, what a great read!
  19. Hi Dave, Internet problems here means I'm not going to make it, sorry
  20. Really sorry I couldn't make it tonight, I went to server and my game crashed, not sure exactly what the problem is, it appears to be some sort of mismatch butI coudn't sort it in time. Sorry again.
  21. Ahh yes that was the end of bumper number 2.
  22. Not updated this in a while so here goes.. So far I've destroyed a front bumper at Buxton, Skegness, Coventry and my latest attempt was Belle Vue, I've started to earn the nickname Crash King already, I'm not sure whether to be proud of this or nor but at least it's something lol On the plus side I was going the best I've ever done on shale so far on only my third shale appearance, and I still haven't had a single driving lesson I've decided to be shale only from now on, apart from maybe the odd Buxton as my local track) I find shale much more rewarding to drive on, even when theres no other cars about its a lot more fun Yep it hurt, my back still aches, but I will be back Although my next meeting is likely to be October 17th Belle vue now
