Completely agree with MoR, its still all to play for although Tom is going to take some real catching now. After a poor, poor few months by my standards I finally felt I turned a corner at Kings Lynn and could of won 2 or 3 races, but luck was not on my side when I needed it. For example in the final, I had done all the hard work of getting clean through the pack with just a white roof to catch (no disrespect to the white top they were quick for novice) but unfortunately the white hit a tyre coming out the bend as I closed in and that was us both put well down the order, although I somehow held on for 3rd with damage. GN, much the same story after I'd worked my way into or near the top 3 trouble with back markers saw me drop down the order with masses of damage all I could do was sit and watch as MoR, Johno and Walker etc closed down on my lead and passed. I was a bit ambitious with the last bender on Johno, for that I apologise I just felt with the Shoot out as it was I had little to lose and a lot to gain. Coventry should be interesting.

I thought fixed setup idea was instead of changing the physics, sorry I misinterpreted.

I'd prefer it was a physics change to be honest so sideways isn't so fast. The problem seems to be too much grip on the rear wheels, go that fast sideways in real life and you just wouldn't get that much traction there'd be too much wheel spin and you'd spin or lose time. A bit sideways is fast but at the moment we are a lot sideways as I'm sure your aware. I don't drive an RCE but in my car you can't put your foot to the floor half way round the corner like I do in rfactor and make it stick. If you can do that in an RCE then I might just buy one but I'd bet you can't. In real life the yokohamas heat up so your down very slightly on grip towards the end of the race and also the first few laps while theyre gaining heat. I'd imagine you have a driver telling you all this at UKSOM though anyway. And Congratulations Lee.

SamW's new F1. First one I've done for almost a year! Couple of little things need adjusting I've just noticed, the odd thing needs aligning properly and the wing brackets alloy colour if theres a 'bit' for that, but in general I'm happy with it.

Happy Birthday Dwarf! Have a good one mate.

Rather strange to dangle 'bait' as a statement of fact as you clearly did in your earlier post. I used to go trout fishing in some of the quite picturesque reservoirs here in the North East, and if I'd put fake worms on the end of my fishing line, I'm sure I'd not have caught anything ;-) You may think you have the whole world worked out at your tender age - hell, a lot of your posts both here and on Stoxnet would suggest so, but be assured, you don't Or I thought it would be good to see what people had to say about it. But anyway as you've now called me naive, stupid, self assured and something of a spoilt brat with the daddy comment maybe I should explain.. "Rather strange to dangle 'bait' as a statement of fact as you clearly did in your earlier post." - No, I used fact to back up my opinion. I don't think "Smithy is ****" holds much credibalility do you? You could of replied with "no, he isn't" to my factless opinion but I don't think we'd really be getting anywhere. "I used to go trout fishing in some of the quite picturesque reservoirs here in the North East, and if I'd put fake worms on the end of my fishing line, I'm sure I'd not have caught anything ;-)" - Right, so why did I catch you smart ass? "You may think you have the whole world worked out at your tender age - hell, a lot of your posts both here and on Stoxnet would suggest so" - You can determine this by what I, and presumably other people write on stock car message boards can you? Hmm, you really have got this all worked out haven't you. Find where I wrote out my philosphy of life on stoxnet and I may let you off. "but be assured, you don't " - I quite like the thumbs up at the end, but I wouldn't be so proud of yourself.. I assume thats a scare tactic that I know nothing of the real world, well I can assure YOU that is not the case. Yep got a lot of life to experience yet, I'm only 18, I fully except this. However, I'm not living in a bubble, and I'm certainly not living off rich parents as I interpretted your 'daddy' comment as earlier. I work, have 2 jobs in fact (TNT Logistics order picking and loading trucks, and Tescos on dotcom, starting next week, highly glamorous jobs eh) and still just about drag myself into college too. The F2 is funded by myself, so is the running, the repair costs etc etc. The only bit my dad does is drive it to meetings (for which I pay him diesel money) and is currently helping me out with mechanical maintenance, as fortunately, he is a mechanic, its his job. I decided to get a stock car as early as I could afford to do so, because I fully accept that in less than 5 years time I may have other commitments (family, work, finance or a whole heap of other possibilities you couldn't even begin to forsee) stopping me from living my dream, so best to get out there as early and young as possible whilst I can, so I can settle down into the duller, more tedious parts of life that await because the government would rather I gave them my wages than spend it on something I actually enjoy doing. Not all fun and games is it. Haven't got it all worked out no, but I don't think I'm quite the clueless, spoilt, waster you think I am. So now you know a bit more about me, maybe the next step would be to meet me in person so you can make a better assessment of my character.. Actually nah I'd rather not.

Excellent read guys.

Hi francois, yes engine still runs just has a bent, and punctured sump, and mounts, so replace the sump and make new mounts. Bent radiator and mounts so going to get another radiator and make new mountings. Bent steering rack, column, and mounts, so new rack, column and make new mounts. Most of the front suspension arms are bent or snapped, aswell as broken halfshaft, caliper and bent panhard rod so all that needs replacing but thats all commonly broken stuff, still expensive though. But we're going to strip it down first and roll it over, buy new metal for the undercarriage and remake it as its a mess under there where it hit the kurb. So yes, it will all fix, but not quickly or cheaply lol Kyle

Aye thats the one Walker.. Kruiz 136 booking in.

Probably last one from me this year after a heavy smash in the consolation taking out front and rear suspension steering rack and its mountings, putting the radiator through the fan and pushing the engine back on its mountings, aswell as the undercarriage being bent through the sump! A bit gutted is an understatement!! The camera packed up during the meeting making some of the data corrupt so this is all I have, a few laps of the heat where I was out front looking good for points place but caution came out and I soon drifted back, probably let them passed a little easy on reflection as the car was going quiet well. Consolation, well its all in the video..
