I never moan at a white or yellow grade for making mistakes after all that is why they are in the lower grades still learning. To be honest I rarely moan at anyone, just take my revenge on the track when I get the chance, whats the point in spamming chat with hate mail, creating a bad atmosphere I'm sure most when they do get the big hit or intentional spin from me, know why, if not I will then gladly tell them. The things that do really wind me up are drivers like Drumb says who just pull out into everyone with no regard for anyone else and then unjustly go on to win the race!! I didn't know he was leading, when he came round to lap me after I finally got going again after the pile up he caused but I wasn't letting him past easily. Drumb, any plans on softening them wishbones, shockers and halfshafts? That will get people to think

Really happy with the final win, really surprised too as i was rubbish in practise, rubbish in the heats and rubbish in the GN, in fact I was rubbish in the final too I just got some luck, off the start with Trav blowing up? causing a pile up and i got away. I'm still a little confused on the start though, claims of speeding, after looking at the replay the whites were some way ahead of the yellows and the yellows, blues and reds were bunched up with the s/s grade trailing some way behind which would explain why they felt they were having to do 30mph to keep up. I never once went over 26mph, and was at about 23mph for most of it? Trav, or was it Dave (or both lol) you once got up to 30mph when you put your foot down for a split second but was at 26 for most of it too so I don't know where you got 35 from. Sorry but felt i had to cover myself here, as i never once looked up from the dial on the rolling lap and knew i wasn't speeding, please by all means check the replay and see for yourself. I do think that it was a little fast though, as legal as it was, maybe it should be reduced to 20mph like F1 as the overall speeds in rfactor are slower than heat making the roller feel faster.

Just been to Birmingham for the first time tonight for a little practise before I go on holiday, unfortunately all did not go at all to plan, and was exactly that, a little practise! 8 laps to be precise. The diff seized up after just 8 laps, the final 5 of which are here: You can hear the diff seize sending me into a pretty rapid spin.. how lucky was I I decided to go to Birmingham last night and this didn't happen at Buxton in a race next month! One positive to take from it. Although I now need a diff so may not be at Buxton anyway lol

Happy birthday guys!

Top post Mav, that does seem to be the problem sometimes, one or two drivers hit everything in front of them causing chaos and everyone follows suit leading to a very frustrating nights racing. But what to do with the ones who can't race 'gentlemanly' like the rest? Let them go past and win? Or take them out which is quite hypocritical. Well I'm not forgiving kind..
-
I would say easily the worst meeting of the year for me, didn't really enjoy it at all apart from heat 3, but it was all for the wrong end of the positions, on a night I really had to do well. Numbers noted, revenge next week back to shale where I can hold my own.
-
Well the number I need was actually 192.168.1.254, which I found by using the cmd box and typing ipconfig as I figured it would need to be my own IP address. When I reset the router it wanted a username and password to authorise it again which I had to ring AOL for who were surprisngly helpful for a change, if a little difficult to understand.
-
I'll see you off the track! lol
-
Please Sir may I have a booking lol No! .. be told
-
Finally working again! And all it took was to put my router back to factory settings, a side product of that was no internet from 10.30 last inght until just now + lots of swearing and head scratching as the internet disapeared completely, but all is good again! Thanks for the help all, especially F2 Fan as I had no idea about how to get the router config page, which is where i found the reset bit.

Good stuff Tosh

I've heard you can get replacement wheels for the g25 though, so maybe you could fit your own 12 - 14 inch wheel?
-
Aye thats a sidewinder, the pedals are variable, the wheel diameter is only 10 inch though.
-
Thats what I thought, is that diferent to host file? How do I unblacklist it? Or is it router specific (so I'd need to get in touch with Thomson)?
-
Very graceful of you mate, I'm sure I will get it back at some point though It was a hard hit and I was in two minds of whether to go for it or not, but when I got there my foot never came back up lol subconcious decision to go for it and thankfully paid off, only just though, very happy with it I was too. The early stages were good with Speedtech, Harold, Pusher and of course Tosh, it soon became a two horse race though with Drumbstick catching once Tosh had punted me wide I decided it was better to let him go than to slow us both down. Tosh was quicker and more consistent than I thought though especially under that pressure, and after I had a few scares with backmarkers (thank you to those who did move over) I had become almost three car lengths behind after 20 laps, on the last lap. Tosh drove an excellent race, really great drive, and had he been just a few feet further ahead I wouldn't have tagged him on the last corner, it was the biggest all or nothing hit I've gone for on rFactor to date, but one I wouldn't normally had gone for, had it been any less important race as I actually didn't think I'd get there. Very sorry Tosh must be gutting leading all those laps for that, and is a testiment to how good a person you are in your above reply. That is stock cars, and as all things do I'm sure it will come back round. Aub, I didn't think you liked being the British champ anyway? Every week you moan about it in F1s! My time is short at the moment, trying to juggle college work, car related work and raise money to fund it at the same time, due to that I haven't really practised at any track other than Birmingham yet however I might just surprise you and do some more meetings, and ahow the wing off when I can. Thanks for your kind words lads, this is the first major championship I've won on UKDirt and it really does mean a lot, I thought I was a natural born loser! Kruiz
