Sorry aub no I didn't see/remember that, it makes it hard to know who is who when people are driving the novice cars. Forgot to mention great job spike, very well run and well done Walker great drive in the final making good work of difficult traffic. Not long before the blue paint comes out I'd say.

Just to add my thoughts on this, I did see and experience some of the 'crap' driving standards tonight. It affected me in heats 1 and 3 where I scored no points. I did manage to get the breaks in final and Grand National where I picked up my first win of the season, in some cases I believe the poor standards helped me gain some positions, but I saw some of my friends falling victim to this as I went by, so i wasn't that happy with my win, as much as I should of been. On the whole most of the people who are complaining about bad driving, are in fact just as bad themselves and do nothing to help matters by taking out the people you have been annoyed by, perhaps you can't see this? Aub, I'm afraid I have to name you here, I saw Murf hit you flat out. I'm aware you had a falling out earlier in the meeting although I don't know who started it. But then you hit back flat out, taking out MoR, who seemed to be an innocent party. So now you have a war between Murf, yourself and MoR. If that carries on you end up involving the whole field, thus making the standards worse. How are they ever going to improve when you do the same back? It wouldn't be so bad but when you involve people who haven't done anything wrong, it just makes things worse. I know your not stupid, I'm sure you already know all that, but sometimes it doesn't show, and that goes for everyone else who was doing the same tonight, which unfortunately was many people. If you are unhappy with anybodys driving, please PM an admin member, we will review the accident/s and punish them as we feel suitable, and just recently we are getting/going to get much tougher on people breaking the rules. This is the best way to deal with problems without them elevating. I did notice a lot of people who recieved some stick tonight were lower graders or people who are noticed were struggling in practise. Some are not quite 'there' with the mod yet, please respect this, they won't learn by being fired out the way and moaned at. On the other hand I know some were just being a bit forceful and disrespectful to other peoples races. Again send us info and we will check the replays. At the end of the day this is for everyones enjoyment and when people persist on carrying out childish grudges and bitching about it in chat all night long it does rather ruin it. MoR summed it up perfectly to be honest on msn after the meeting, he and myself have dished out some OTT on occasions as recent as last week, but at the end of the night we leave it there, and carry on with the season. Rivalries are good, I had one with Hutch all last year, I lost most of the battles and indeed the war, but I still enjoyed it and am even disapointed he hasn't raced this year. So now I need a new one, and I suspect it will be MoR . As long as its laughed off at the end of the night, its enjoyable and harmless. I get the feeling tonights won't be between most, which is a bit sad really. Sorry for the essay, no offence intended on any party, but please just step back calm down, think about it and come back next week with a view to enjoying the night, and let everyone else enjoy themsleves just as much. Cheers Kruiz P.S Lee, I didn't know, I haven't spoken to anyone that did, unless you told them I'm not sure how anyone would find out.

Jokers only count for National Series points, not grading or world qualifying points or anything else.

Ha cheers Murf.. my dad was Antrobus grass track champion for 3 years, back in the jalopy days lol I hope they drive as good as they look in the video, well done guys.

I think Lee531 is leading the National Series Johno? TomD is leading the National Points from what I can see.

Thanks must got to Kev for keeping it updated

Single 2.8ghz processor, 2GB RAM, with a 7950gt graphics card, similar or better cards can be bought for about 30 quid these days on ebay, and I play it on full settings except for special effects, I even have shadows on low. I do get lag from time to time but it doesn't seem to help if I lower the settings or not, its just background processes that I just can't get rid of, that causes the lag for me I think.

Great pics Tosh

I personally enjoyed both meetings, but then if it had gone the same as Buxton and crashed out of every race perhaps like Dazza did, then maybe I wouldn't of so much, I know I was about ready to give up at final time last week, although thats not my style I keep going no matter how bad my luck is lol

Don't be disheartened guys, thers only so many points on offer each night, not everyone can score them all, all of the time. Keep practising, improving, turn up again to try your luck, you never know. Eventually you will get there, you won't get anything from quitting though. Most of the red tops now started out from the start at lower grades, Marten was yellow, I was white, Johno was yellow, MoR was yellow, we've all been there at some point. The point is we're all still here now, except we're all doing much better, and that is only beacuse we've stuck it out, practised through good and bad and are now getting the rewards. It just takes time guys, Andy Smith didn't become World Champ over night. Tinman, check to see all your drive aids are turned off, traction control, driving assistance etc. These will effect your online play but not your online play asthe server disables them. It could also be that you think the car is handling worse online as you will be trying to keep up with the faster cars, offline you can go at your pace. This will make you put your foot down more, causing more wheel spin and subsequent slower times. Less is more in this game, less revs coming out the corners gains you traction and faster lap times, trust me. Go at your own pace, don't try to keep up with any driver that isn't your grade, as you don't need to yet. It may feel slower but using minimal throttle on the corners, especially shale will get you round faster. Keep it up guys, I hope to see you all back next time, if you need further help with anything I'm always happy to offer advise. I won't send out my setups, but I will offer advise on how to get the car handling, and driving tips. I really enjoyed the meeting, I thought after I was somehow sent into the wires backwards on lap 2 or 3 of Heat 1 it was going to be another night of frustration similar to last week but it certainly picked up from there and I got some very satisfactory results. The final was the highlight for me, a good race with Speedtech, Murf and a few others along the way in what turned out to be a very hectic but enjoyable race, lots of cars littered about the kerbs and fence certainly keeps you focused on your driving!

Agreed Tosh one of them songs that gives you a tingly feeling down your spine for some reason.

Tonight the rFactor F1s visit the only two tracks to have Wire and Post fencing, in the same night! The character of the tracks is such that anything can happen and anyone could win which is why they are my personal favourites. While one is slower with sharper corners and one is fast with almost flat out corners, the two tracks seem totally different to drive but perpetual focus, determination and a generous proportion of luck are the key to success at both these venues. Each track also has an important round to hold, Sheffield opening the road to gold campaign with World Qualifying Round 1, drivers will be eager to claim their place in a Semi Final and rack up as many points as they can, as early as possible. An hour or so later drivers will load up and head west to the stadium of Belle Vue for the second round of the National Series. With last years dominant force Hutch #331 seemingly less committed this year, the chase for the silver roof looks to be well and truly on. So what are you waiting for? Make sure you get booked in for the best nights racing you'll have in a long time.

Good stuff Walker, if you wern't already, try shooting it using 'half-size' option as that will help stop it freezing I find., also if you can get a registered version of Fraps you can shoot it all at once.

AOL - but stay away lol. Check out O2, the cheapest rates going for a decent ISP and seem to the highest rated for reliability and customer servie just now. http://broadband.o2.co.uk/home/index.jsp £14.68 a month for 20mb or £12.23 for 8mb with free McAfee Security software and a free wireless router too. If you are with them for your phones too you will save an extra £5 a month on broadband, and so far all I have heard in feedback is positive.

Yeh it is, didn't get time to fit it though, the main point of going was to get used to the car and actually driving it, I can't actually drive on the road yet remember lol So still learning the clutch and stuff too, I seem to be getting there on the track, I was lapping consistently and in control most the time and it was turning in well, very taily but I was having fun keeping it in control lol Do the engine at Buxton like I say No better place for it really.
-
Ta mate, aye cos it wasn't lol probs gonna take it to buxton and do whatever we can to get it revving before stripping it down and replacing everything lol I hit 7000 revs once when I came out the corner wide and braked late but mostly just over 6000.

Quick up date on this guys, I was at Warton on Sunday and did about 100 laps in total. The car was fine, seemed to be handling well. No understeer lots of oversteer but managed to keep it under control most the time! I did have one slight mishap on my 6th or 7th run, when one of the Capri bangers that as running with the outlaws dumped a load of oil on the track with me right behind, and as I put the power on coming out the corner, it stepped out big time, I then over corrected it keeping my foot in and ended up head first in the wall on the straight - not a nice place to be lol It bent the bumper right back, but about 40 mins later was fixed enough to do a few more runs before going home. Few pics taken.. And a vid - this was the first run I did after the crash, as you can see the bumpers a little bent on the left front. A lot of the lads went home, most of which I noticed were taken off the track via tractor I noticed as I was fixing my car I can only assume because of the oil on the track as they never put down dry powder like BriSCA do. The Outlaw has a 2.2 or 2.5 litre twin carb engine running on racing Michelin slicks and was the fastest car there by far, so I wouldn't bother comparing me to him lol. Overall I felt I was going ok, still not sure on the engine though yet I never got enough revs up at Warton to test it. Next thing to try is Yokohama tyres at either Buxton and Birmingham with a full weekend coming up to fix the damage.

Forget the race pics, your avatar pic beats the lot Tosh lol
