Some may use them. But the "in" radiator I get asked for at the moment is Transit Diesel used with the Sierra header tank.

:( See what I mean? What's the point in spending £££££ on something like a radiator for SSC? Even buying new Transit (or Granada) ones. You could probably buy at least 4 for the price of one of those things.

I agree Scrappy, the normal man is simply being more and more priced out of all short circuit formulas these days

If only I could win the lottery jackpot, I have big ideas about getting the normal man back racing.

get to your nearest autograss track and you'll see that the man in the street can still have fun on a shoestring budget

I did, unfortunately the blokes running it were complete :3: I wanted the build rules, I asked the bloke in the main hut thing, he sent me to someone else, I went to him, he sent me to some one else, I went to him and he sent me back to where I started, so I gave up!

Racing wise they seemed a bit too strict for my liking anyway, plus it's all non contact.

The only thing I'd race in Autograss is class 7. Not too keen on racing a special as they only go upwards if you clip wheels with someone, lol (although they'd be good o watch). The rest seem pretty boring to me as I'm either not into FWD on grass or don't see the point of puting an engine in the back unless it's class 7. But then again, you are back to ££££££££

The Scottish Autograss track is about 2 miles from my yard and I've not been to it yet in a year and a half. But I'll make it up some day for a visit Prydie.:thumbup:

Nick, check out the Autograss website they will be able to send you a copy of the build rules, remember that every class has its own rule book and i think they cost £2.

you should get yourself along Scrappy, im building an AX for my lad for next season as the ministox are are getting out of hand spending money hand over fist to get a competative car. You dont happen to have any AX's in yer yard scrappy? Bauld Autos would look nice on the side of the car lol.... PM me if youve got any

my auld man and the JAPP racing team are building 3 specials and a couple of stockhatches.

Quite a few of the drivers are ex-stockcar and with this being the first year the track has full planning permission i can see this srpot start to boom over the next few years up here.

Its only £5 for adults and free for kids to get in, a very relaxed atmosphere, ive only missed one meeting this year and only been to cowdie once, i think that speaks for its self.

anyway this has wandered right off topic lol
