Magpye105 Posted May 5, 2005 Report Share Posted May 5, 2005 Taken from 'The David and Chris Whiting Page' on Rogers UK Oval Racing Pages.... here is their report from Arena on Monday 2nd May 1300 Stock Cars (15 cars) Heat (15 cars) : 636 Scott Waite, 711 Clark Wells, 620 James Avison, 675 Lee Palmer, 705 Brian Davidson, 674 Andy Palmer, 668 Paul Haralambou, 775 Scott Hughes, 631 Darren Pratt, 646 Stuart Taylor. Final (13 cars) : 675, 674, 711, 668, 705, 682 Chris Hunt, nof. Helter Skelter (11 cars) : 711, 682, 674, 675, 620, 668, 636, 646, 704 Billy Kavanagh, 705. The heat was rather void of action with just a couple of spins. 636 Scott Waite took the chequered. The Final was much better, with probably more hits in this race than the Bangers were providing! 704 Billy Kavanagh spun 682 Chris Hunt to the fence, Kavanagh later hitting 705 Brain Davidson as he spun exiting turn 4. 682 Hunt put in a huge hit to send 636 Waite wide, but went into the fence exiting the bend himself. The leading 610 Nicky Paris was caught by 675 Lee Palmer as the pair weaved through the backmarking 682 Hunt and 705 Davidson. 675 Palmer hit 610 Paris on the back straight to go through as 682 Hunt fenced 636 Waite on turn 1. 610 Paris then clipped the kerb on turn 4 to perform a full roll to end the race.
