crt has to go as i have no room for it and as for tft its going back 2moz it seems ok with net and gaming but dvd playback is so crap its unbelievable

whats the difference hutch as i have found an 150 quid monitor for my new pc when it comes which is voted best gaming one of the season....

the difference is the resolution mate, tft's can't go to the high resolution that crts can go too

 

the higher the resolution you go the less jaggie edges you'll see, try a game at the lowest res then the highest to see the difference

 

it really depends if you have a good enough graphics card for the high resolution in the 1st place i suppose
