Well it got passed to me a couple of weeks back and I have got it to a state where it can be released for online use. The AI file is not complete so I suggest you do not try and race the computer but it all works fine online. I will release a patch at a latter date for the AI and camera files but as I probably will not get a chance to work on it between now and christmas there did not seem much point holding onto it. Thanks to Genie for laying the basic track and to everyone that helped test. splinter Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 I really enjoyed racing at this track, although I only got to race one heat on it on Sunday The attention to detail is fantastic, including the realistic looking hills, scenery and the pits area. If only Scotland had a real shale track like that! It would look good with worn out grass on the corners as the quickest line tended to be to cut the corner a little. Also a flag marshall's gantry or at least a post showing the start/finish line. more of the same please

You should end up with /GameData/Locations/Wedgeway/sky.mas wedgeway.mas wedgewaymaps.mas /GameData/Locations/Wedgeway/Wedgeway/wedgeway.000 Wedgeway.AIW Wedgeway.cam Wedgeway.gdb Wedgeway.scn Wedgeway.tdf Wedgeway_Loading.jpg It can be started from the locations of 'Wedgeway/Wedgeway' not under the normal 'UK Short Ovals'
LondonStoxFan Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Thanks Fourwinds. I spend some time on MSN with both Hutch and MoR the other day, and whatever I do it simply will not load up. All the files are there, in the correct locations. I installed some other tracks (GRCRaceway, BelleVue, Brum) and they are all fine. There's something about Wedgeway that my game doesn't like! Shame, as it was the first time I've had a chance to join in a live meeting, and couldn't because of this. Probably a good thing really, I'm so bad at the moment
splinter Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 I guess you will have tried changing your graphics config settings, in the start menu before loading the game, and also the display settings in-game. Cant think of any other reason track wont load. Only real glitch I found with the track is the AI coming out of the pits, but everything else works spot-on
