Kruiz 136 Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 Hey, just been looking at rfactorcentral.co. and came accross this, an American style banger mod, looks like it will be quite fun. http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?I...20Title%3A%20BR
Yorick_H30 Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 (edited) wheres the damage Edited January 3, 2008 by Yorick_H30
MarcG Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 oohh this has potential, if they get the damage right it should look very good as this can be done in rF, just not enough regular mods out there have decent damage so everyone thinks its not possible!
Hooty256 Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 It is very hard to get decent banger style damage on a car in rFactor in my experience, as i spent a few weeks playing with bangers in the very early days before I got obsessed with those damn tractors. The main problem with it was that the damage caused stutters but this may have been improved by the patches that have been released since. Realistic visual damage or not, I still think that a banger type mod in rFactor would be very good and driving a car with normal worn suspension and not some race bred thing is so much fun.

I think its very do-able, plus you can set it to knock bumpers and other various parts off with a hard enough hit.

Kruiz 136 Posted January 4, 2008 Author Report Posted January 4, 2008 Certainly looks like it has potential to be very good indeed.
