big al 515 Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Has anyone got the Bash'n'Crash (N)ascar set? I saw it in Woolies today. I haven't done Scalextric since I was a nipper, so I don't know how much they've come on since those days. Just wondered if they are any good?
Dan 57 Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 i've got a bash n crash set number 1 i think, the newer sets dont have the wire directly onto the brushes so less repairs are needed, the problem i found with them is that the plastic used is too brittle and snaps real easy this is a real problem on the barriers so we made our own out of metal so now its the cars that get pretty battered, There is now a set called digitial which means you can run more than one car on each trak independantly then hit a button and switch to another lane for over takin
Flyinsi Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 yes big al I got it for my boy last year and it is pretty good, not to massive and it's got a nice crossover to practice your driving skills on
