  6. Thanks mate, I enjoyed our battle, I tried to cling on for dear life
  7. Super league is that the netball super league No, it was rugby league, although I might be willing to swap it for watching fit women running round in tight tops and shorts, especially on a rainy day
  8. Exceptionally well run meeting, which I appreciate as still time to watch Super League match afterwards B Final was an outstanding race

    Come on

Thanks for all your efforts, Stumpy, you have been a tremendous help to us all. Hope to see you back soon.

  12. Seemed a half decent meeting and quite enjoyed it despite attaining the expected duck. Highlight for me was a nice little race with returning UK Dirt legend Corny in the B final. He and I were both on the podium in the first ever UK Dirt WorldFinal in 2001. It was won by the bloke who set it all up in the first place, guy called DirtBozz. We all owe him a debt (real name Darren Summers, ex V8 stockcars driver).
  13. Enjoyed it - love the bumps on this track. Need lots of practice to be any good on it, which won't happen. Might have had more chance from white but no chance of scoring from yellow. Made the stupid mistake of dashing off to get a quick skin pack update (turned out to be 6.5 I was missing) without saying owt before the WOS and locking myself out of the race! I can't blame Stumpy, I should have been more careful over the skinpacks and should also have said I was nipping out. Now UKStockcars have finished, looking forward to the last few weeks on here - aim is to score a point from yellow!
  14. Was good to be back and I like Sheffield as you don't have to brake! Still pinching myself after winning not one but two races - my only previous UK Dirt win on rFactor was a B Final at Odsal many moons ago. In my heat win, Toff caught me up with a lap to go and you could say I made myself wide! I somehow managed to keep him back, cracking finish mate. Then in the GN I could see a car appearing in my mirror but kept concentrating and luckily it didn't get too close, I was desperately trying not to bottle it. I had to pick my way through a few lap down wrecks in the race but I think luck was with me. Top night, thanks all
  15. The no shows were the lucky ones
  16. LOL unlikely Mav, but it's a real buzz to get a 4th. I don't often watch a full replay just for the pleasure of it but had to relive tonight's Final. I must admit I was going well! I needed a bit of luck when I was in the thick of the other white tops early doors, I tried to keep off the power and keep good track craft to minimise the risk of spinning out and it paid off. Once I had left them behind I tried to just concentrate on nice tidy laps. Once I saw Tom in my mirrors, though, I knew the game was up, it was just a case of seeing how higher a placing I could retain. Once Liam and Grass had also passed me I had a bit of a gap and tried to cling on - although I never looked at my position until the chequered as couldnt afford to put myself off lol. Have to disagree with ChrisA's comment in chat that he reckoned he would have caught me if it wasn't for a backmarker, I reckon I had to pass them the same as him, he made a good chase but don't think he was ever quite close enough to have a pop at me - good 5th though mate! Great meeting, well done Tom and all the other winners, and thanks to Dan, Stumpy and anyone else involved in running the meeting.
  17. Cheers Mav, was that when I ended up reversing all the way down the straight to get out of the way lol? I had very similar results to you, the racing was hard and fair. I have to say I enjoyed it. Good racing and chatting with old mate Chris and new one Danny the Bees fan - like the yellow and black skin by the way. The number of whites with varying levels of experience made for a great challenge, excellent stuff. Well done Mike on the win.....is that how you superstars always race each other?!
  18. Cracking video. So that's what it looks like on full graphics!
