  1. Great racing last night, there again seemed a healthy respect between most drivers which is needed on those big wide bends and it made for some terrific multi car close racing. The racing is as good as it's ever been this season in my opinion, keep it up guys. Also, total respect to those who steward without racing, we all owe you
  2. Nah mate. I tried nipping up the inside of Matty when there was no real gap, my fault and a racing accident. Thought we were friends aswell. Only yourself to blame Robin.... Yep i always say that in the mirror aswell it's the others not me. Don't have a clue what your on Duel at dawn between two friends over 12th place last bender?
  3. Great night's racing and so many heats run in super quick time too. Well done all concerned. Congratulations UK Open Champ Mike.
  4. Exceptionally well run meeting - thanks Jack & stewards. To be done by 10 o clock with this number of cars was ace
  5. I could have sworn Iron was red....
  6. Any tips on what to delete first? Will I lose my setups for Belle Vue?
  7. Enjoy the Darts! Worth missing one meeting for that I'm sure.
  8. I've never really got the hang of this track but at least I avoided a duck. Nonetheless it was a decent meeting. Well done Jack on an excellent debut Race Managing
  9. Has it been four years? Doesn't time fly.....Hope to see you back, Iron - the racing's very good so far this season
  10. I am loving the racing so far this season. With a couple of possible trouble maker whites missing (certainly one of them is banned), the standard of racing was exceptional, and I am really looking forward to my Thursday nights. I was surprised to get a 6th in my first race, but wasn't quite so lucky in my other two. Then in the B Final I must have been thinking of last season as I thought my 5th place was the last point scoring slot. Kane was on my bumper so I tried to cover the inside, got in a mess and ended up crossing the rumble strips. I was probably lucky to still hang onto 6th but was glad to later remember this is now in the points Grasser did an excellent job race managing the meeting. Well done all. Roll on next meeting.
  11. Thanks Mav but I did best in GN once I had 'got my eye in'
  12. Cracking meeting overall. It didn't start well, my first heat was a write off - I didn't make the first bend. I haven't seen a replay but I got the impression it was due to an over zealous white top behind. I got him back later, mind Things settled down after that and had some good battles. Pleased with a 7th next time out and then so nearly in the points again next race but Stox shifted me on the last bend and it was a drag race to the line which I just lost. Things went well in the Grand National and was on 4th but Chevy was getting closer and closer and timed his last bender perfectly. managed to hold onto 5th so I was well happy. Had a top battle with BigWig/BigDave too can't remember which race it was though. The roller's improved significantly through the night, the last 2 or 3 were excellent. Well done Dan, you are flying so far this season - yet always a gentleman as you make your way through the field. Quality.
  13. Very true, Bagoo. First meeting of the season, drivers are entitled to some leeway but it's important new drivers quickly learning the importance of swapping round fairly on the grids. I never got on the front row of the whites in 6 races, plus another white passed me on the pre roller and didn't let me back when we reached the grid. Hopefully the grid formation plus the actual rollers will improve over the next week or two as drivers settle into the new season.
  14. Well done for top scoring, Dan! Also thanks for running it to you, and to stewards Hooty and Stumpy. A great meeting. Lots of white tops and lively but fair on-track action. The rollers need a bit of work but hardly surprising for the first meeting of the season with several new drivers. Brilliant final win for Spike, but I hope he will also remember our superb battle for 10th place in heat 1 - that was one of my most enjoyable races ever on rFactor. Passing and repassing, side by side, lots of bumper, and I got the old man back on the last lap. Great stuff, mate!
  15. Good effort Jake. Maybe one or two different camera angles might make it even more interesting next time, especially during the early laps where you streaked away from everyone. Thanks for posting the link.
  16. Great meeting. Good to have quite a few new faces and for a 'fun' meeting, the standard of racing was exceptionally high. Well done everybody.
  17. Same skins as last year for me please, Dan. Thanks.
  18. Big Al 515 White Top - Dean Whitwell car 195 please.
  19. See you mate All the best whatever you do.
  20. Sorry to hear that Gary, I wasn't commenting on anyone in particular as I didn't pay much attention to the exact nature of what was being said. Hope you enjoy yourself on UK Dirt PS sounds like you should have accepted the fee back tbh!
  21. LOL! Sorry Crewe, it was the Festive drink talking!
  22. I'll echo Mav - Jack and other Admin did a very good job. The gap before consolations was a bit long but I wouldn't have wanted to be the one to sort them all out. The guy who seemed to steward all my races was top notch - I liekd the way he drove on track in front of the whites just as he was calling the roller to start and then lead the pole cars round at 20mph - certainly made for good starts. Was surprised to find cockpit view locked, although I use it anyway so suits me fine. Considering the number of cars in the meeting from different leagues and not knowing each others 'styles', I was impressed by the standard of racing - good sensible stuff with no idiots. In fact, the only idiots seemed to show themselves in Chat where some puerile stuff went on, but on-track it was great. I didn't expect a 4th place in any heats, so that was good. All round, well worth turning up, well done all involved. Maybe there should be a bit more SimStox/UK Dirt joining up, based on this effort.
  23. An excelelnt read Jack - it's nice to get your description of drivers from both 'codes' as I don't know some of the Sim Stox only guys. It's also good to see I will be reacquainting with some UK Dirt friends of the past, such as Crewsader And Kev Smith 1st reserve - what more can one say!!! If you fall out with your in-laws over Xmas, at least you can look forward to this
  24. If Big Al is up for it, then I am happy to be his wingman 1 - 172 Micky Randell 2 - 247 Gary Castell 3 - 263 Paul Phillips Failing any of those, then happy to take any of the remaining cars. Good on ya Mav!
