The back bumper should only have the lower bit of box section, not the additional 2 side/uprights and top piece.

The cage behind the drivers seat should have 2 uprights and then bars running from side to side horizontaly, not cross bars as you have done.

Other than that it looks good so far.

EXCUSE ME!!!! i have made it my self. i just used some of the bits on the mk2 escort banger template to help me. Allthough i did ask boogie if it was ok to make this model as it is very similar as you have proven i dont even have the max or 3ds file for the mk2escort banger.

cheers for the comments will take these into consideration. i will also need alot of help to get it in game im havent got much idea how the ssc mod works as always any help is greatly appreciated.

also i havent released anything for the saphire i altered a while ago still dont know who the original modeler is.....

if you have a problem then shove it colley!!! and i have created a whole new template for the ssc model.

i have had comments on other forums and i think i will add some uprights between the back bumper (so it looks like a ladder).

I think he maybe did make that saloon model himself rather than editing the Mk2 Escort banger. Here's a pic of the banger model at a similar angle...

Stig,

When the Mk2 was being used as a saloon, the back bumper rules were different and it was only a single bar, not double as you have.

If your going for retro realism then you should change it to single bar.

here is an update and a better angle (front isnt mapped yet). i have deleted the x bars and added two uprights (not dont horizontal bars yet).

also skitzo thinks the frame should be on the outside of the body panels. what do yous think?

3 vertical teeth on front bumper ;) ?

Posted (edited)
thanks andy, just some of them look a lot like hotrods and wasnt sure.

3 vertical teeth on front bumper ?

is that a problem? more or less?

well it does if you want it to look like a saloon. Saloons usually have at least 4 or 5 teeth.

Saloons have big steel bumpers :banghead2::bop: Dont know about anyone else but i find the difference between a saloon and a hotrod easy to tell :scared15:, and yes there is a good few rods and that in the gallery as its loads of pics from the 80s :042:
