Hutch#331 Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 its a fiat engine in that lancia aint it, we had a turbo lancia engine which was going back in but the place where we sent it to get tuned went BUST..... was just a 2litre twincam fiat with a turbo
Kruiz 136 Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 If its standard yes it will be Hutch, pretty much everything on a Lancia is taken from a Fiat.
martin379 Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 Yeh, same as what you'd get in a Delta HF Integrale. Clocked just over 180bhp on rolling road at Wallace Performance.
Knobby Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 F... It Another Tragedy! Guess the first word lol
Kruiz 136 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Here our current Alfa, not in bad condition for its age and pretty much everything underneath it is is less than 3 years old, it is just starting to rust around the rear wheel arches. It could do with a respray and some new wheels but we're holding off from spending anything on it until its next MoT as we suspect the steering rack has gone, which is too big a job, think my dads fed up of spending every weekend fixing that particular weeks problem lol. Its not been that long since the gearbox blew up and that was big job..
Lee Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 I take it that would be the same model Alfa that Tarquini raced in the btcc Kruiz?
Lee Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Yeh, think it was from the 1994 season (year i was born) Reminded me of when he 2 wheeled it out of the chicane at donington.
Kruiz 136 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 (edited) Yep thats right Lee, ours is actually the Silverstone Touring Car model, very rare these days. Edited February 5, 2009 by Kruiz 136
Walker363 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 (edited) Yeh, think it was from the 1994 season (year i was born) Reminded me of when he 2 wheeled it out of the chicane at donington. Yeah your right as kruiz says. I have the video of a touring car review of the 94 season when it showed the roll Tarquini had at knockhill. Awsome roll but lucky to get out the car.
