everytime i turn my laptop on i get a message saying unmountable_boot_volume

its really doing my head in

please if anyone can help or had the same problem let me now how to stop it

Sounds like a dead Hard drive to me.

All sorted now a boot file was damaged or missing

but found out that if you hit F11 on Packard Bell's brings up the Packard Bell restore, which has solved it.

i have lost all my documents and programs but at least is working lol
