Onboard card? but is he on xp? if so trying too run on windows 2000 compatibilty mode 20025 He's got a 5 year old 'Tiny' PC that the local computer shop has told him he can't get an upgraded Graphics Card for.
Chewy102 Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 wot kind of a pc is it? 20030 Other than its a 'Tiny' branded PC and has a Celeron processor. I don't know much more!
JohnMid Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 I don't know if it's something like a particular car or texture that's too much for the 16mb of graphics memory. Make sure not to select high detail cars maybe? If it's a low profile type of computer, then cards are hard to come by (half-height), or if it's PCI only (no AGP) then it's not worth wasting money on upgrading the gfx even if you could.

I did turn the graphics settings right down on his PC yesterday and it made it a little better. I guess he's gonna have to be happy racing offline in the meantime and start saving his pennies for a new PC!
