Sorry was in a rush in the library, so just quickly posted a vid.

 

Its my first go at modelling, wanted to have a go at modelling this car for ages (as i own one) but have never had the time!

 

I only started it the other night so very early stages i will post more pics up soon

 

Critisism appreciated,

 

Anyone point me in the right direction of tutorials (damage, putting it in game etc) I also need to know average poly count for a model too

Looks quality mate, good stuff...

 

Poly wise (approx):

Full Undamaged model - 1500

Full Damaged model - 5500

Pacecar0 - 1200

Pacecar1, 2, 3 - 5500

Pacecar4, 5 - 1800

Pacecar6 - 350

Ive hit a wall at the moment, when i try to export to .mod its exporting an empty file, any ideas?? msn: mitchwilliams1(at)hotmail.com

 

small progress, templates nearly finished

looks brilliant mitch!

that positioning is to do with where the model is in the max scene and you have to use 3dsmax3 to export mod files. ;)
