THX ALL FOR RACING

Great work again Spike and the team, super slick stuff yet again even with a couple of restarts

Glad to have avoided a nil score at my home track by steering my way through all the carnage in the GN!!! Had kinda hoped to spend a bit of time during the weekend trying some of the upgrades I have yet to sample and thus get a decent set-up but as per usual, my plans changed at the last minute and I had to make do with a 15min blast offline before the meeting last night :banghead2: Thought that if I could keep oot the way and avoid any pile-ups like you get at places such as Sheffield, I might sneak into a top 10 place somewhere...nae luck in the first heat, picked up some minor damage and there weren't enough retirements further up the field. Heat 2 was a non-event, got T-boned on the first corner which broke the rear suspension or punctured a tyre...parked up on the pit bend to get a birds-eye view of any action but then Tosh decided to park his fat RCE in front of me lol. Final got off to a hectic start and I was soon shuffled oot the top 10...Trav soon appeared in my mirrors so I pulled wide to let him past and went to line him up for a follow-in on the pitbend (haha Pixie) but instead latched on behind a recovering Dave to see if I could keep up...cars were disappearing from the leaderboard so it became a battle for 10th, with Tosh also joining in the fun as he recovered from an incident. Dunno how it happened but even tho Tosh and Dave were battling, they caught up with Trav again and the next thing I know Trav was bundled into the home straight tyres. Pedz also joined the battle for 10th as did new leader Woody...thought I might just be able to sneak into the points but as everyone went for the last bend hit I was battered oot wide...nae luck! GN turned into a bit of a DD, got caught up in a few scrapes and bounced off the tyrewall a couple of times but for once didn't pick up any damage, and spent the rest of the race with SpikeJnr loitering in my mirrors!

Bloody enjoyed it tho, the track is a brilliant challenge and extremely realistic...really have to hug close to the armco to get a decent lap, just like the real thing. Will cya'll next time! :2:
