FOR SALE ======= My double World Championship winning Dell Dimension 4300 PC, complete and ready to race NASCAR Heat. Powered by an Intel Pentium 4 1.6GHz CPU with 256mb RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX400, 40Gb hard-drive (recently reformatted and has a fresh install of Windows XP) and comes complete with Dell mouse, keyboard, speakers, 771A monitor, all of the associated leads and all of the hardware & software installation discs. PLEASE NOTE this PC is NOT up to rFactor spec but is ideal for for any hardcore Heat gamers (it ran all the mods on full graphics) or as a back-up/storage PC. Thanks as always to admin...dunno what it is aboot Belle Vue but I can guarantee that something will always happen when I try to race UK-Dirt F1's here...2 years ago it was the steering wheel, last year it was the graphics and now it was a phone call and the graphics again! Despite spending the first half of the race on the phone, I was doing well in Heat 4 battling in the top 10 until I got the dreaded back corner hit in traffic and spun down the order. Went a bit better in Heat 5, daring to mess with the east end hardman Steppy before Kane duly obliged by nailing Steppy on the last bend giving me two free places. Dunno why but my graphics were shocking in Heat 7...severe jitter all race long...sounds like Matty suffered the same problem and ironically we spent most of the race giving each other clumsy hits. Wasn't massively fussed about missing out on the A-Final as if the gfx were struggling, it would have been pointless for me anyway...thankfully the B-Final was a good race tho, bad luck again to Matty who was going well until he got collected by a wayward backmarker. Luck stayed with me for the GN as well...couldn't get a break in the pack and feared the worst when Dode joined the battle from his handicap, but then things unravelled around me and I eventually got some clear track space for a top 5 finish. Great racing as ever lads, hope to catch up with you all again next month sometime.

Sorry for mucking you about on Thursday admin...computer has never been right since the BIOS battery went flat earlier this year but can go for weeks without a prob, then seems to have a spate of blue screens of death in quick succession. I seem destined never to get a proper chance to race BV in the F1's...last year at this very meeting was when my steering wheel started playing up in my first shale meeting from blue, and now this year the PC decides to have it's turn in my first shale meeting from red! If at first you don't suceed...swear.

Epic meeting, one of the best since my return to the league...ok there were a couple of dubious tactics and incidents but to me this is what online Saloon racing should be about...don't take it too seriously, plenty of bumperwork, very unpredictable but plenty of action. Hell if you thought last Wednesday was rough, you should have seen the real life World Final on Saturday!!! I look forward to the wife's next nightshift on a Wednesday!

Have confirmed my booking on the website...doesn't have my grade but was running from blue during the joint league last season so would assume I'll start from there again.
