freew67 Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 USA! USA! USA! Good fun all, thanks for letting me race tonight.
wee dode Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 was a good meeting, enjoyed it and glad to get that many points. Was nice to be on the pace for once lol. thanks to admin for the meeting and cya next week if im back in time.
Nezza46 Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 wd to Drumbstick on taking the championship. was very quick and consistant all night. a very frustrating night for me unfortunately though and found myself getting a bit grouchy probably a bit down to lack of sleep lately....grrrrr babies lol the track was definately a hitters favourite as I found out to my detriment. (although I did give Trav a cracking last bender in one of the heats lol....which was returned with interest in the next heat though ha ha) also found myself dumped into a parked car by Spike in a later race as well. I defiantely need to work on my existing set ups a bit now, as the new physics update did affect my car more than i anticipated. It wasn't turning in as well as it used to which made my lap times way to slow, and left me way to open to the return hits on the next bend after putting someone wide. For some reason I just couldn't figure out what to adjust to bring the turn in back to how it used to be. So to be honest I can see why I had a frustrating night. Great work on the update UKsom, but please stop it now lol, as I had just got the car running well enough to have a go from superstar and now I fear a poor run until it clicks again.
Aub Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 Not a bad night i guess i was quite a way off the pace so i am surprised with my results. Track is proper buggy tho and that what led to my downfall in the final i came out turn 4 with a few cars in the wall on the outside of me and they warped into my front end nothing i could do i just went round.
drumbstick Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 (edited) Unsurprising really that I thought it was a top nights racing, seemed to be hard but fair all the way through the field. I was chuffed to win as Dave mentioned its my first championship win, but also it was my first win of the season, and the first ever win for the Duratech engine so a nice triple. WD to Freew who I also think was the first yank to win a UKDirt race? Edited August 11, 2010 by drumbstick

Yea looking at the replay we were all doing 70MPH at teh end of the straight so it was pretty much identical
