thekirker1 Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 f2s were absolutely rubbish imo well done to michael bethune who would have won the final if the lap down 626 hadnt held him up
Ham 775 Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 Yep. F2s were pretty poor. No more than they were at Skeg last week mind you, the only difference being that there were less of them being poor tonight. Saloons were better tonight in numbers and action but it still spoils it for me that almost every incident is immediately followed by a yellow flag. Was i the only one surprised that Prostock No 152 re-appeared for the allcomers race after taking the huff at being spun out in the final and hitting a stationary car after the reds, a stationary car that contained a driver with no helmet or harness on i might add. It might not have been at high speed but i'd have thought that would be an absolute no-no . Not the first time a blind eye has been turned to his antics mind you. With any luck he might have picked on the wrong people this time
Guest leasj1 Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 (edited) to be fair the f2s at skeg were not bad it was FILTERED tonight i agree. Pity they strung the meeting out big time cause they were not enough f2s to split the heats and it was noticeable Yep. F2s were pretty poor. Badura_Racing258 Posted July 17, 2005 Author Report Posted July 17, 2005 Has Brian Irvine sold his car, or was it only a 'loan' fora few meetings? 85 was going quite well, and it was good to see him doing well, shame Derek Duff held him up for the best of 3/4 laps, but didn't/couldn't do very much when SHevill Jnr past him. I think last night was one of the most boring nights. They done their very best to stretch out the meeting, yellow flag for everything, taking their time getting cars of track. The worst was for the 4 restarts in the first saloons race, even though the track was about to get cleared at the first opportunity, but they were quick out with the yellows (when not needed...). It just drags on. I'm sure the quicker they get the meeting over and done with, the better it would be for everyone. F2's weren't that bad, but i've got to give Robert Newall the biggest woose award, after that showing. It's nice to let a big shiny red roof past but when a 'not so good, but quicker than yourself' comes along, he'll hold his ground, which i was hoping on the ast lap of the final, McMillan Jnr would nail him hard and stick Neall and his 'pretty' car in the wall for being a big jessy. George McMillan Jnr looks to have got the car running well, and got some good places takign a heat and GN double. Ham...152 is just a fud. I left after the Saloon final, but i wouldn't put it past him for being a complet and utter diddy. He gets away with enough in the bangers, and i thought adding the 'cat' on the side of his car was a bit too far. Honestly, the biggest pussy i have seen when it comes to 'racing'. Maybe it's only a matter of time before he gets some of what he gives? To be fair to him....he's unique in being the only person to start the wrogn way around in the layby No wonder everyone hates the mop/mob, whatever you call that pathetic scottish group....
Sparky961 Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 muppet of the year award for hack Least some people are bringing some memorable bits into the racing. Unlike certain muppet who shall not be named who just slags down every meeting. cheers sparky
thekirker1 Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 851 has not sold the car, he should be at knockhill

thekirker1 Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 if its me then saloons were good, f2s were mince, just my opinion
Guest Scrapman53 Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 I think it might be me Kirker. But I won't comment on the meetings I've not been at, because I don't go to Cowdie all that much now due to becoming more and more disillusioned with the place over the last few years. The only times I go now is when I fancy a blether with my mates from UKDirt.
Ham 775 Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 (edited) It could be me as well i suppose, lol i've been called worse . I wouldn't say i "slag off" the racing. I just give my opinion of what i have paid to watch, which just so happens to be quite poor most weeks. Unlike Scrappy i still go most weeks so more often that not i make comment on the racing. Maybe it would be better if we all live in the ideal world of positive reports only and make this a happy, all is good type forum. But i don't think everthing in the garden is rosy and i'm not going to lie and say otherwise. Personally i think the "certain muppet who shall not be named" is Hack and Sparky just forgot that he had named him 12 words earlier P.S Sparky If one of your "some people who are bringing memorable bits into the racing" is Prostock/Banger 152 then sorry, but like him or not sooner rather than later one of his "Memorable bits" is going to hurt someone.
