southy277 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Last night i found that my setups were awful. My car was very twitchy and only took a very slight tap to get me all out of shape or spin. Is there something that I am missing here as everyone seemed to be flying & easily getting around the track. Where as I were having the fight of my life trying to keep in a straight line. Practiced after the meeting on other tarmac tracks and found the same. Southy
Hooty256 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Only thing I can suggest without looking at your setup is to check the diff preload isnt all the way up.
southy277 Posted February 28, 2012 Author Report Posted February 28, 2012 Ta - i'll check that later when i'm home.
Dougieford220 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 For me southy i think you just gotta look at your setty and try out differebt things. Ive found them easier to race once loads of tweaking been done but im sure once on shale ill be at the back again

You have to remember the two quickest cars in practice struggled in the final, so having something consistent and good in traffic is more important than 1 lap pace

You have to remember the two quickest cars in practice struggled in the final, so having something consistent and good in traffic is more important than 1 lap pace I never aim to be the quickest and know that a good handling car is better. It is purely about handling and the car being very twitchy - i'll check the setups etc.. later.
