lloydy89 Posted July 18, 2013 Report Share Posted July 18, 2013 cheers for the meeting admins! brilliant nights racing, had some really good battles! thought id be well off the pace after doing practice but race pace turned out to be good! chuffed to have qualified for euros! apologies to dode if you thought that last bender in gn was ott. From my point of view it was no worse than the many ive received this season. Yet again I wasn't expecting to do well i was struggling at times in pratice but I drove very well and got 7th in first heat should have been 4th ish but hit fence then I went in the back of parked car 338 and got 7th. Second heat drove very well which i got rewarded with a win, then in final it's not very often I get a top ten finish and got a good 7th and then in grand national I let 115 and 129 pass, which I was very comfortable to finish 4th, so I got a fantastic 30 points and i really wasn't expected to qualify in the top 6 2nite to be in the european championship next week. I didn't realise how good Arena is, I haven't raced it much & it's a good shape and nice width so makes for some quality action.
