Junior397 Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 I'm getting this when I plug my Ethernet into my PC (http://gyazo.com/7e3812ef5da572fa7ea89ad2e1998c4d), never done this before, hoping I could get help with it, I've re-installed Windows 7 and still have no luck with it And I'm not sure if my Wireless will handle the online racing.. Thankyou. Jnr.

Thankyou. Jnr. I wouldn't use Wireless for racing unless you have a solid wireless N connection and you're close to the router. Have you looked here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929852 Particularly the 'Prefer IPv4 over IPv6' item? It looks like you install something to change your network preferences so it's best to do a system restore backup point before you apply it just in case. Otherwise, you could look in your local network connection properties and try removing the IPV6 item from the list. Again, do a restore backup point beforehand. Failing that, I wonder if your router is configured to dish out IPV6 addresses in preference to IP4? If you have any trouble, PM me. If I don't know how to sort it, I know someone who will.
