Thanks for the meeting admins, especially with the pre meeting issues with the server. I was just hoping for a few WCQR points under my belt, so over the moon with that haul...roll on next week at my home track... sunny Barford...Well done all heat, gn winners and well done Danskin topping points.

Having to rely on my previous setups, I was devastated to find my final winning setup just caused me to spin out, so Sunday was frustrating!

I gave up and came back to it at 5:30pm on race night to find 18 drivers in the server!

However I just found a setup that I could keep from spinning but was several tenths slower than the rest, then the servers went down.

Just went with what I had in the W&Y's and it was going well until 94 took me right to the fence with a few laps to go.

Scored some points and it gave me a bit of confidence that the meeting wouldn't be as bad as I thought on Sunday!

As each race was called I tinkered with the setup, but for the first heat it wasn't tinkered with in the right way and I was awful!

Second heat, tinkered the opposite way and I lead the race!!! :o

Was away and clear but then a fast moving car came into sight and I knew I wouldn't make it to the finish in first. Third was a great result even so and I was so pleased!

Scraping through to the final was a bonus, but knew I was there to make up the numbers. It didn't go well but the further tinkering I did helped with the handling and although I was back in 20th the car felt good.

Made a further adjustment for the Grand National and was really pleased with the pre race practice.

Go was called and I fell to the back of 7 yellows, but on the first bend I passed all 6 yellows!!

Couldn't get into the next bend quick enough and Ash connected with my nerf and flicked me into the air. I was now 18th and last.

Car handled well and I put some of my best laps of the night in and slowly caught other drivers. A few laps to go and I had progressed to 10th, but as earlier in the race I had just passed a squabbling Tjsalli and Jake, and on

following bend I went deep this time and on the exit of the bend Jake hit my nerf with a similar result as before, me hitting the Armco hard which broke my front wheel, now in 13th.

Disappointed but that's racing.

Overall pleased with the racing as so many yellows made it a challenge.

Congrats to BigDave and all the winners, and well done to the F2 Admin Team and Stumpy for getting the meeting on and done in a good time.

Onto Barford, the next challenge!!!

As this was the first meeting of the new season, just thought I'd highlight a few who raced who haven't renewed their memberships yet.

Only a few days to do so at the reduced rate........
