We had quite a few entries for the last rally so this seems to be quite popular, this time we're doing the Monte in 90's cars... You get the usual Escort, Impreza and Delta along with the Sierra and M3 if you're feeling adventurous. 6 stages this time as well, but only 1 service point at half way so be wary of that.

It's also been good to see how people are getting on so please post below how you are doing.

I do love Tuesday nights for some Dirt action! Just completed the 6 stages and enjoyed it. Started off on the first 3 stages slow and steady, trying to keep the car in one piece as with only 1 service area I didn't want any big accidents. After getting to the service area with little damage (Just the usual engine, brakes, turbo to repair) it was all going to plan. On the final 3 stages I started increasing speed and it flowed really well in the Escort. The final stage threw me a bit though, mighty slippy to start with but got back into it at the end when it is nice tarmac again.

For what it's worth, I prefer this event setup to the others (6 + 1 service instead of 8 + 3 service?). Less stage repetition helps keep it fresh (Or maybe Monte just has less duplicated roads).

Short video of me tackling stage 6 (Approche du Col de Turini) to come shortly.

Well that went well!

Binned it on the first stage

Felt like I was going well, but think I got a bit overconfident and ended up slinging it over the edge!

Good to watch that grass, rather quick! :appl:

I spotted where I went off in the first stage as well, Its where the pace note said "4 left double tightens" think I ignored the double tightens part :banghead2:

I wonder if I will get an advantage here!!

Been running the Impreza in the Championship today and did really well in the Germany tracks, (actually finished in 2nd once!), hate Greece and Wales tho but went quite well at Monaco.

I have actually got promoted out of the Clubman to do my Impreza runs so hopefully as it was harder to do - Snowing in Monaco, I hope to be able to go well this time.

One thing I have trouble with (well one of many lol) is that sometimes its hard to see where I am going, especially Greece, it is very dark, hence why I crash a lot there!

Either tomorrow or Thursday I should be able to give it a go, so we shall see :)

ERM Scratch that what I just wrote!

Just seen Grasser's first run, and he goes faster round the hairpins than I take turn 3 & 4's!!!

That video was amazing - really wish I could do that :)

I will be lucky to be within 2 minutes of that time lol

Oh well - Not to be last should be my ambition then

Decided to have a go at this cause it looked fun and different. Right first go at this and i have discovered that the little bit of talent i had left has now gone lol :) Nice fight with dan until about stage 3 then he came into his own :P

Stage 6 was going brilliantly probably the fastest yet for me then i caught the bank and it punctured a tyre. Managed to stay within 40 seconds of dan so im happy.

Murdered 3 spectators in two seperate incidents as they stood on the inside of the hairpins on stage 2, other than that pretty uneventful.

A close run thing in the end, I managed to win overall by about 15 seconds from Jeyder. Josh, Mav, DanW and Aza rounding out the finishers.

Thanks again for having a go, the next one will be up tonight.
