Painting skins with

I see that some of you guys that do skin painting for someone,, what painting programme do you use "Gimp" or "photoshop"... I have dabbled with Gimp awhile ago in a 3d chat room game. So I know a little about textures and stuff..When I get more confident with using Gimp,, I would like to try my hand at doing my own skin painting,, obviously I will need a little help but that won't be until I get my lappy meaning laptop

To get the best results and a nice flashy skin use Photoshop. Not sure about Gimp. If you just want a very simple skin and a quick one then use Paint.net
