Peewee Posted July 28, 2016 Report Share Posted July 28, 2016 Well that was a hard meeting but had a cracking race with Rev in Ht3 just proves to me that you can have a great race with someone without the need to bury each other but it nearly went wrong when a wild Mav appeared from nowhere and drove infront of me lol. Mav Posted July 28, 2016 Report Share Posted July 28, 2016 Not a good night at all - mainly thanks to 468 - what a guy!!! That's my month of blue done and a grand total of 31 points scored, all in the heats, no final nor GN points - Be nice to be downgraded to yellow but I don't think it will happen. I await DP team to conclude their investigation on whether I rode the wall to take the flag in the B Final, but even if the win was fair and given, I don't think it will cheer me up!! Truly depressed at trying to play fair, put the effort in with practice etc and have stupid incidents take it all away, when I finally get a break. Up to 5th in heat 1 with 5 to go then 468 (whom I had just passed cleanly) starts to follow cars in that's in front of him on each bend after letting 1 & 39 go without touching them! 800 joined in and even when I passed 468 cleanly again, 800 put me wide and back into 468's range! 9th though and 2 points. Next heat top 10 when passed 468 down straight so he turns into me mid straight, and into a tyre. Out of race. heat 3, was just a hard race after Wardieeee had finished with me but too far behind to get anywhere - Lucky that 246 & gang we having a bumper fight allowed me to sneek past on last bend but I was passed myself by 117 & 237! 9th place and another 2 points. B Final sat behind 589, then 454 passed me so waited then made my move. It worked but I was watching my mirrors too much and 589 caught back up, then had a last bend attempt. We'll wait and see if it paid off for him. GN and good old 468 waited till I came alongside then turned into me again mid straight spinning my car into the fence, and bang went my 9th place. Seriously chuffed off!! Rant over - sorry to have wasted five minutes of your life, you can now continue with your lives now, safe in the knowledge that Mav's just an old moaning _______ (Fill in as appropriate!) A good meeting for me just a shame about the final (sorry Danw as it ended your race too ) got a nudge going up the inside of someone but it was enough to put me into the tyre and bounce me back out . I managed 8th in my third heat but had to catch others up due to i got nudge in tyre then last bend got from 13th to 8th by going on the inside while others went towards the fence Without hitting anyone & well pleased with 8th in the grand national which gave me 6pts, so up and onwards for me & im just going to try my best what ever happens with me starting from red but ive learn't a right lot with just doing two meetings from that grade Edited July 28, 2016 by rickyjames237 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just want to make it very clear on here exactly what happened just to embarrass you.... Upon watching the replay (twice) you'll notice Stox forgets where the brake pedal is and puts me into you rather sharpish. I slammed ok and saved you from the fence and from spinning which is something I wouldn't do for many people on track. After that, I made sure I didn't touch you and you randomly put me in the fence the next bend, some kind of revenge hit that stox should of taken. You then went wide with me and spun me straight across the front of you which could or couldn't of been avoided as I nearly spun around. You saved me (fair play) however you might just want to think on before posting. I give people the respect the respect they give me, and since last years coming together I give you a fair bit of respect. If you don't want it just say, and I can give you what I give everyone else. After last week, and Cowdenbeath I have some scores to settle. Don't go putting yourself on that list. Pipe down and watch the replays. I don't even want an apology, I just want good clean racing which is too much to ask with certain people. As for a certain blue top, Cowdenbeath is certainly noted... As is the European. You'll soon learn who you've picked a fight with. My name isn't respected amongst every league for no reason... Quit whilst your ahead. The only advice I can give... Wasn't expecting to do well around Kings Lynn as shale is hit and miss with me but 27 points I will happily take. Good race with Mr Drabble in heat 1 which I enjoyed and thought I would try a last bend hit on the last lap as I was kind of close but ended up half spinning but managed to recover and finish 4th which I was still happy with and also enjoyed a good race with DanW in heat 5 I believe it was.
