The qualifying rounds have finally come to an end and the top 48 drivers in the points chart have booked their place on a Semi Final grid for this coming Monday. Kings Lynn is the venue for this year’s World Championship Semi Finals and this track always produces some action packed racing and it is a night not to be missed.

Firstly, a big well done to this year’s qualifiers!

At the top of the points chart this season is Kane #238 and he will be the pole man for Semi Final 1. Kane will be one of the favourites to take the win and get on the front row for the World Final in September. The man alongside him is Ben #800 who will also be looking to take victory on Monday night.

The pole man for Semi Final 2 is the current National Points leader Hoggy #92. Hoggy will be a tough one to catch if he gets away from the rest of the cars behind him. Completing the front row is Wardy #184. Wardy has been one of the quickest drivers of the year in the F2s but luck hasn’t been on his side as such.

Further down in the grid in Semi 1 sees the likes of LeeK #39, MartinB #981 and Ryan Simpson #653; they will also be looking for a good finish to be high up on the World Final grid. Ex World Champion TomD #112 starts far down the grid but I’m sure he’ll be making an appearance at Kings Lynn to book a place on the World Final grid at Mildenhall.

Semi 2 looks to be the harder of the two semi finals which sees the British Champion Wardieee #180 on the outside of row 2. Other names in this one are Reece #411, Ricky #237 and recently crowned European Champion Tsjalle #329 who will all be looking for a top 10 finish come the end of the race. At the back end of the grid sees shale specialist Grasser #233 and PaulE #394 who only qualified through the last qualifying round at Crimond to get his place on the grid.

And for the drivers who haven't yet qualified there is still a chance to make the grid as a reserve depending on no shows. Every driver that races and fails to qualify will get one final chance in the consolation semi on World Final night at Mildenhall in September.
So make sure you don't miss this, one of the biggest meetings of the year. Bookings are now open for the meeting on the 15th August so book in now and guarantee your spot on the Semi Final grids. Good luck!

One final note, non-qualifiers are invited to race as there is also a normal meeting after the semi finals open to all paid members as per usual.
