Heat Crash

Having problems atm with heat and the mods, sometimes it opens but controller wont work, others it freezes before the race of in the controllers menu or on the race load up, most others its crashing. Ive narrowed it down to the wheel i use but reinstalling the software or that does not help. Wheel I have is around 5/6 yrs old, 1 of the 1st USB sidewinders so maby its just needing a wee update. Its only started playing up this past month or so but now its got to the stage where i cant race at all. o aye crash log is this:

wheels hoosed i fink m8

 

keeps moaning bout a wheel and it has all axis on joy0? wich cant be good i fink

 

try running game with wheel unplugged and race a few laps with keys.. c if it works

seems like wheel's had it, keys work fine gd sites which do a double deal WoO and a sidewinder? Looks like a trip 2 pc world or game 2day

i got a wheel for sale but has to run on windows 98

im on xp wheel worked fine 2 start of dec then it started playing up and gradually heat would not work so i presumed it was a software problem
