Speed Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 Many of you might have played it.its the best car destruction game on ps2. It was created by Atari and monster games.and Nascar heat was created by Hasbro interactive (which i believe were takin over by atari) and monster games. Is it possible to make the cars and track off the ps2 game compatable on the pc nascar heat game. If anyone knows if this is possible or not or is willing to try please tell me and i can upload the files.i also noticed the names of the files on both platforms are the same for eg (.car file and.trk file) if im being stupid just tell me .but i think it would be great if it was possible
Kruiz 136 Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 (edited) I have the game and it is really good, how do you know if the files are the same on both platforms as you can't see the files on the PS2 can you? Edited February 5, 2006 by Kruiz 136
Speed Posted February 7, 2006 Author Report Posted February 7, 2006 i put the ps2 game into my pc mate thats how i know
Kruiz 136 Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 I didn't know that would let me look at the files like that. But i doubt it would work if anyone can do it but it is interesting because the file types are the same althoigh they don't work in Nascar Heat i'm not sure how much tampering they would need to be put into BriSCA Heat. Comparing it with Gran Turismo 4, the files are not the same at all so maybe Driven to Destruction is worth tampering with, if anyone has even got it. Judging by the popularity of this thread i don't think many people have the game.
Speed Posted February 8, 2006 Author Report Posted February 8, 2006 may be its only the younger genaration of fans who enjoy the excellents of Driven to Destruction. for those who havent played it here are some pics (hope images work) and if you wanna see pics loads are on google plus can be bought off ebay and other online shops may i say onece more Gr8 game
Kruiz 136 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 (edited) Not expensive either, cost me about £15 from Play.com, even free pot and packaging and it usually comes within 4 days. Edited February 8, 2006 by Kruiz 136
liam boyle Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 i have the game it is one of the best demo derby games i have it is even better than flatout
Kruiz 136 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 It is looking more and more as though it is for the younger generation with all apart from me aged 15 and i'm 15 in less than a month. Although my mum does play it whenever she gets a chance! (honestly!)
Leeroy186 Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 My advice to you lot about this game is to flog it on ebay and make some profit! I brought it from a shop for a tenner and sold it on there as used for 40 quid. It seems alot of banger boys want it and its hard to get hold of now.
Kruiz 136 Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 What??? It is still in stock on play.com for £15.99 with free postage. Fools. lol!
