JohnMid Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 Some thoughts It would save a lot of time and possibly get quicker answers if problems posted are accompanied by a reasonable amount of detail about the computer and the problem- at least what version of windows is running, what happens when errors occur, what hardware is in the PC and house. Because every time, someone will first have to reply with "please post specs and crash log if applicable" and we could just cut that delay out really easily with a bit more explanation in the original request for help. It's like saying "my car's not running, anyone know what the problem is?" I'm not having a go, just trying to speed up the process of getting answers to problems. On that note, "never mind sorted it" posts would be useful if there's some details that can be shared- how was it sorted? While your problem may be solved, there may be others who would find the solution useful to know. Almost every problem has been answered already (often several times) so half an hour spent reading this forum might be a good idea too before posting a request for help.
