Like Danny i use Avast and Adaware. I also use the firewall software ZoneAlarm. All of which is free and hasn't yet let me down, swapped from Norton to Avast about 5 months ago. As Wrighty suggested, use Ccleaner to get rid of norton, it's the best way

There was one made, but 1 it looked poo because two cars using the poly limit of one meant that the detail was low and 2 i think there were a few problems with it meaning it was released. We had a test and the physics seemed quite good.

After having time to reflect, i think that my personal problem with northampton is that im about .5-.7 off the pace each lap during a race which means that i hold people up mid corner, get the jump down the straight but then hold them up again next corner. It feels like this leads to people cutting up the inside and hitting my rear wheel / side impact bars rather than the rear bumper, dunno how true this is as my game doesent save the replays but thats what it feels like from bonnet cam. Obviously this spoils the racing for me, i got very anoyed after the europeans and equally last night. I'm prety sure that its because im so slow and not because people cant punt properly. I liked the format, with being in the server all the time, as you could either watch the races or you could go and get a drink ect. I also liked the nubmer of races we had last night, when we have a quick meeting format where its all in, 2 heats a final and a GN it feels like the meetings finished by the time its jsut got going and i leave feeling that there should of been more. Something to add to the suggestions thread mayby. Thanks for RM Jonho, and all those involved with the server and thos who stewarded the races.

Thanks to everyone behind the scenes that has contributed, it's worth every ounce of effort because as i said in the suggestions thread, this is the most fun form of online racing going at the moment! As far as my season goes? Well my first meeting was great, for about a week and a half i put in about 2 hours practice most days and it payed off, i think it was said at the time that it was the most sucessful debute to ukdirt f1? From then on it went downhill as the shale tracks came up, i managed to qualify for the world final (which i couldn't race in the end as it clashed with 2 other world finals) by way of the Kynns lynn round. Mixed sucess on other tracks, shales still something i need to work on as i just cant get to grips with it at the moment, and of course northampton which seems to be my bogey tar track, hate it with a passion. Cheers everyone!

I know earlier in the season i was pretty anoyed about those dual championship meetings, where the qualifying for the main race on the thursday was done on the wednesday, giving those who couldnt do the wednesday next to no chance of getting into the main event due to there only being 1 or 2 LCQ's(think it was the euro's?) Mayby a system could be thought up that allowed say half of the grid to be formed on wednesday and half on the thursday to give a fair split to those who didnt get the oppourtunity to do both nights. Something that i was quite anoyed about tonight, starting at the back of the yellows for the final or the trust fund final i foudn that before i had even passed the start / finish line some of the blues had already overtaken me, the cars infront were moving slowly, and it looked as if the blues had 'jumped' the start or were rolling too quickly as the grade gap had vanished. Mayby the steward for the race could call a restart or something as it pretty much ended my race on lap one. Thats it for now, i'l probably think of something else over the next few days. It's not all doom and gloom i've had the most fun racing rfactor F1's online than i have in any of the other online leagues / formulas so the admin team are doing something right!

Sorry for double post. As an Idea, Could we do a meeting at the new Buxton rather than skegness? I know it doesent got with the rods but i think it would be nice to give buxton a good competative try rather than just 3 cars in practice before next season?

Well done Hutch, Every time i see you race you seem to be on top form, and throughout the season you were baning in good results so its no surpise really.

If its the same as 3dsmax 8 then go to render at the top, click environment in the drop down list and then it will bring up a box that will enable you to change the background colour and shade.

They talk about the last bend lunge in stockcars, well that was the F1 equivelent for hamilton! Glad hes done it this year after the blowout last year. The real test is whether he can handle the rules changes next season.
