I've just had a look in my rfactor folder in the NIR track folder and i cant see the file that is creating the error, so possibly it could be a case of the extractor not extracting all of the files correctly? If thats a stupid comment then just ignore.

Ok i have an error whilst trying to laod the track also. "Error Loading Texture NIRPLAT03 for material NIRPLVAR03" I am running a full installation of normal rFactor with the most recent patch. As Hutch seems to have a thoery, i am on ATI graphic drivers using a Radeon x300 Here are my game settings:

If you have never tried rFactor it is definatly worth trying in my opinion. However to be half decent or be non the pace you will need a steering wheel for you computer. I have only done two rfactor F1 meetings as that is how long i have been a paid up member, and i just cant get enough of it atm, it is definatly superior to heat!

Very pelased to have qualified after a shakey start to the race half spinning out twice. Was more so disapointed and angry with myself in one of the heats i think it was, MoR was faster than me and i tried to keep with him by using the bumper but he got just out of reach and on the backstraight on the last lap i spun and lost 3 or 4 places Sill a top meeting i thought and i thoroughly enjoyed myself despite hating shale! Cheers to everyone who helped to run the meeting.

He said no, it's obviously more hassle than its worth... Nothing wrong with novice skins anyway, they go jsut as fast!

When you place yourself on the back do you do a lap and then join the back of the grid before the race has started? If so, jsut skip the qualifying session so it puts you there automatically.

Signed up with a team made Havent got a clue about football as i dont really like it, but i like little comp's like this. Chose any players i thought sounded good lol Also wouldnt let me choose non premiership teams as my fav team so chose the hotspur!

The back wheels being soft has absolutly nothing to do wit hthe model, it's the physics. And it's spot on anyway..

In my opinion i think that is a very difficult but respectful desicion to make. After last weeks meeting i started to feel very comfortable with rfactor F1's, but after practice on the shale over the weekend i have lost quite abit of confidence due to the fact i havent yet managed to do a 16 lap 'stint' without spinning at least once. However by thursday i think i should have practiced enough to cut this right down and therefore have decided to complete in the semi.

Yer you can adjust it both ways, i couldnt remember what F key's they were so thought i'd just say which way to go to the settings which i could lol

Do you mean so that you tell it when you want to change gear (a manual gearbox). Should be able to do this by click the top tab on the main menu (Customize) then going to settings > Difficulty > Auto shifting Off or that you want to control the clutch yourself and turn the auto clutch off? This can be found under auto shifting in the same place as described before.

Cheers lads, the problem was using firefox rather than internet explorer. Firefox didnt show the tracks at the bottom!
