Yeah my brother was telling me about it since he has he game on 360 (although he has a ps3 aswell) and that the figure 8 racing is allot like Banger racing. Straight away I asked him if there were any oval tracks for that mode and he said no much to my disappointment. It sounds good but atm I think nothing beats GTA IV, the second floor of the car park on the second island and driving around that Banger racing style. Still though it would be nice if you could stop the cars blowing up and make it so they just stall.

Hey I'm just saying cause I've never had nothing but trouble from PC world and ever since I learned about the hardware of PC's and how to build them I realised just how much corner cutting and overpriced cheap cack PC world uses. For example my old man was gonna buy some rubbish from PC world for £700 and I said to him I will build you one much better, allot cheaper. And I did, I built him a beast of a PC with top brand components for a much reduced price of £530.

Where in the world... Bloody anywhere BUT PC world! About Vista though, I just built my brother a PC yesterday and he seems to be able to get on with Vista ok. And this is a person who only did 2 F2 meetings on here because he couldn't get around the skin pack/update downloading/installing and going in and out of chat, he found it too much hassle!

My 2 brothers each have a ps3 and they say nothing but good things about Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and also the one who's into racing like me said the Formula 1 game is pretty good.

The closest you will get to realistic Banger racing in a commercial game is the original Destruction Derby for the PSX/Sega Saturn/PC. Destruction Derby 2 is also good fun but it's more like Banger racing with Nascar's which is pretty over the top stuff.

On Saturday my Grandad gave me a bag full of old photos he had, most of them are just the typical family ones but this one caught my eye: This is my Grandad back in 1965 at the at the wheel of his Stock Car 411. I thought it would be nice to scan it and upload it here for you guys to see. Not too sure but I think the track is Wimbledon.

Can't go wrong with cable broadband from Virgin, I've been with them since November 2003 when it was NTl and I've had only a few problems. It used to cut out for hours at a time every other month for the first 2 years then it decided to stay out permanently. So when a guy came round to fix it he found out that all it was that was causing the cut outs was a small metal splinter inside the wall connector that was causing it too short. He said to me he was amazed I was even getting the internet at all but when I told him I have had it for 2 years up to that point he was gob smacked lol. So anyway had no problems with it since then except one blackout last year that unfortunately was on a Monday and made me miss an F2 meeting! Do note the customer service is terrible! If you are blessed then you will be lucky enough to talk to someone who you can understand and understand your problem... BTW, did someone say AOL is "awesome"?... They must be out of there ******* mind to say something like that!

Listening to it I was like "now where have I heard that song before?..." Then I remembered it's in GTA San Andreas on one of the radio stations. I'll be back with the song name soon.

I'm pretty sure most of you here have heard the song "Ooh La La" by The Wiseguys. If you don't know it by name then you can listen to it here: I remember when the music video of this song was played on TV (MTV probably) in the late 90's and it was black and white clips of Banger racing. Who's your ISP Vixtro? Virgin Media mate. @martin379: Sure would be no problems if a had a direct connection to my modem but I'm going through a router cause I have other computers connected to the internet as well as my Xbox 360. I've tried making a direct connection to my modem just so I could host on occasion but it doesn't seem to want to work any more, even if I manually force the IP, subnet mask, gateway etc.

Did a little research and I believe it's Brazil Rendering System v2. I'm on the hunt for it now.

This is a render by H33Racing so I hope he doesn't mind me posting it as I'm just using it as an example. Does anyone know how to get that cool metallic effect like he has on his cars? I would pm him but he seems a little inactive so I thought it would be easier to just make a thread so anyone can answer if they know.

I have tried countless attempts at hosting so me and a mate could play cause he wants to try the game out a bit racing with me first to see if he likes it. I heard the ports are 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and I've gone and opened them as much as I can like this: But I still can't host...

Lol I like that one allot. That thing be from one of my fave games ever, Resident Evil 3. I even got a statue of it cut in half with it's guts spewing out.

I don't see what all the fuss is about with black on white numbers. It's a real life rule so I'm all for it. And also, great looking cars everyone! I'm looking forward to seeing them soon on the track.

What's new you say? Well the numbering on the aerofoil is coloured black with a white background/stroke. Also yes that black triangle over the Michelin logo on the top image is also new but that is just a render defect I can't seem to get rid of.
