Do you use a right rear brake pad on tar? Where does everyone run their axle lead? I have been running parallel as I've not got a clue what difference it makes.

What Southy said. If you can hit 16.6 to 16.9 on Monday you will do fine. 16.2 and 16.3 will be the fastest guys i reckon. Concentrate on staying consistent.

Don't have the money but just bought a G25 on eBay. Sidewinder is great but it's not upto much on RF. Are the settings you posted a must? What do they do over the default?

Thanks mate, wasn't that. Thank i've sorted it. I was filling the layer "Body Colour". I've now filled the panel layer and it seemed wrong at the time as all the modelling lines were still on the panels but if you keep clicking the flood tool, it soon goes over them, not even sure if i am doing it right, templates were far simpler in the heat days

No doubt this answer will be simple. Trying to paint a bingley template for F2 and i'm trying to make the body black but it's coming out a dark grey, instead of black, help an idiot out? Cheers

Let me help you out, not very quick The link to the DDS plugin is broken, but i managed to get v6.74 from another site for the time being.

Thanks bud, i might chuck a skin together tonight. So just to get this right, i make one skin, then change the roof colour on them so that i submit all of the grades? Anyone got a clue what grade ill enter at? I am showing as red on the ukdirt site but there is no danger im a red on RF mate. I presume there will be a guide on conversting etc, from what i remember before you require a plugin for adobe that does the DDS part. Been out of this game far too long ! So before i blast on with painting, is there a major difference in the handling of chassis? Is there a preference that people swing towards? What chassis do the top guys use? I need as much help as i can get. Cheers for answering all my questions lads, its appreciated. Found the skin painting guide, couldn't access main site from work.

Definitely gonna invest in a Logitech mate, sidewinder was great back when i bought it but technology has moved on so much. Seen a few decent priced G25's on eBay.

Found this topic quite interesting. I am currently ussing a Microsft FF wheel and i am having problems with real feel. Just installed it the other night and car feels horrible. I have read various places that the FF setting in RF options needs to be a - figure rather than a + so i have changed that. Should i also use the ini file on this post or is that only for the G27?
