think it would have looked a lot better as a blue as it would have matched the chassis. How about turning a wheel again and see if you can make it......

IMO. Wireless is never going to be as secure as wired and will never be as fast. Even today's standard in my workplace, we have 100Mb to the desktop, wireless will never get that fast. Even the WEP encrpytion can be cracked in a few hours. I know a friend (!) who goes out in the car with the laptop switched on looking for open connections and sorry, but if you have a wireless connection and it's not secure, you are open to all sorts of attack, minimum being the use of your internet connection. If your on a desktop, and you can hide the wires neatly, go that route. If your've got a laptop and HAVE to use it whilst sitting on the loo or in the kitchen, go wireless. But make it secure. I'm currently putting out wireless as a project in my workplace, in a Hospital so you can imagine how secure it's got to be. Anybody got any questions about wireless, give me a PM.

Is this the motor he's running recently. Think I remember seeing it at the Belle Vue meetings with it's distinctive wing.

I know it was a bargain, I had a limit of $600 and that was it..... wern't going to spend any more on the kids than that. Everybody keeps telling me, they play with the box more than the toy inside.

I started off with notepad and then moved onto dreamweaver but I was using the text editer for about 75% of the time until I really got into the WYSIWYG viewer. Last time I used it, it was about 50/50. I've got a dreamweaver ebook if you want to pm me and I'll email you?

I've got a minor problem in that when I run the multiplayer option of heat and then select my name from the list of drivers (that is in the drivers.txt), it then flicks back to the same screen to select a driver. Im on Windows XP Pro, network is running fine as I can see my other PC on the network. The same problem occurs in another Heat game. Disabled firewall and everything I can think of. Just wondering if anybody else has seen this happen? many thanks in advance

errr, sorry but all I saw on the website today was this.... Hundreds still to apply for licences Last posted: Wednesday 3 August 2005 08:51 PUBS, clubs and restaurants in Bolton face a race against time to apply for new-style drinks licences. Council officials say that so far (on Tuesday) only half the estimated 1,000 Bolton premises which will need new licences have sent in the paperwork before the August 6 deadline. Those who do not meet the deadline could end up being shut down in the run-up to Christmas. As part of new licensing laws being brought in by the Government, responsibility for issuing licences has passed from magistrates to Bolton Council. .................................

one more question. Sorry. Do I have do download all the skinpacks (from march)?
-
thanks for assistance yeah, sorry, forgot to mention. Networked to each other, internet available on both via a router, to 1mb broadband link. Heat multiplayer works fine over both PC's. just wondering how quick we could get online and next meeting we could race at? And which skin's we'd use? (the Novice ones or our own?) cheers.

I'm thinking of actually venturing onto the ukdirt track at a meetnig in the near future after a long time watching from the terrace's. I just have a question As I don't have broadband at home, is it possible for myself and my friend to use the same broadband connection to connect to dirt? Is there a newbie's guide that can be downloaded (saying to use the mirc chatroom, heat patched to 1.72, full tracks, how to line up at each track. etc) Also, how soon would be able to race? Would we need to race using a newbie skin or is it possible to upload our own to use? many thanks in advance

actually, I don't want to know....

first concern, how did you find out this information............ lol

Just asking for all your stories about how you all came to be part of this happy group of racing individuals. Also, how did it all start? I know there was DTRSC and then it moved to Nascar heat, but wondered what the history was before. thanks in advance
